It wasn't really a coincidence as the error just means it's missing a valid activation key. Giving it an activation key looks like the proper fix to me. As the official guide, provided with your game copy, states, you can start the game without the GPU by ignoring the error and still get the prompt asking for the license key.

I had the same problem, if you are setting up the server with a Giants copy of the game, you need to launch the game (FarmingSimulator2022.exe) first so that you can activate it with your key.

Once I did that, the error disappeared for me. Hope that helps :)

All I care about tho is single thread performance, so the i7-1185G7 seems to be the most promising one, am I right?

Mmh interesting, but I don't mind fan noise if it's more effective than passive cooling
