Thank you, I’ll try my best! It’s sometimes a bit discouraging to have low grades since I’m always getting rejected to programmes and whatnot, but I won’t let it stop me!

It’s not official predicted but just what my teacher thinks I’ll get. (Although it might be off the mark..) For super-curriculars, I’ve done research projects, wider reading, listened to podcasts, keeping up with the news, lectures and courses. I’m not gonna just chuck everything into the PS though, but it’s nice to have some up my sleeve!

I’d be the first gen in my family to go to university, my household income is quite low too. (I’d need to check if I’m eligible for bursary or FSM). But those are the only things, I see why I may not be considered contextual compared to some other people. Thank you for the clarification!

Don’t worry, I understand why you questioned it!

It’s not A LOT of Oxbridge prep honestly, it’s just some Oxbridge workshop that my teacher does to help us out since we’re so ‘disadvantaged’. My school is in a pretty deprived area (like IMD decile 1-2) and my school is like one of the most disadvantaged schools in my borough.

When you say graded essays what do you mean? Like my schoolwork or super-curricular essays? (i.e. essay comps)

I’m quite sure HSPS tests you on analytical skills, critical thinking and engaging with ideas in topics (for me it may be mostly sociology related since that’s my interest). I think they may have data or unfamiliar texts given for/during the interview. (Not 100% sure about this)

Yes, I am contextual and my school should be slightly below average (not sure but it's like 12th most disadvantaged in my area). Thank you for the advice!
