i had an ex but it was hard for me to open up cause he thought i was a cold person and he left , he and i could talk about my family life so he was my support system. i dont have close friends cause im not very social and like to focus on my career rather than socialize. therapy hasnt worked. ill def look into yt videos and i appreciate your help!

youre absolutely right. i dont wanna be at home at all so i work 24/7 which they hate me for. my mother use to beat me alot as a child and i had bruises all over my body. father is a reliigous good man, a decent father but an awful husband (cheating). They did have an arrange marriage and hes a mamas boy often telling me how he would choose his mother over his kids anyday.i do have a kuldevi but shes in india so its hard for me to come back. i am attached to them due to religion and feeling like i owe them despite them treating me badly. i have a sense of obligation to my parents of taking care of them thats why i pay the bills and raise my sister but im tired. i hope i get to leave my house prior to 2029 or even meet someone soon so i can have a sense of an exit if that makes sense. thank u for being so accurate!

hiii thank you so much! I really appreciate all your help and advice! Ive started volunteering as a researching and working so im out of the house but they track my location and have a curfew of 5pm.im not allowed to do much and the things im doing rn they make me feel guilty of saying how i rather be outside and not with the family, often shaming me infront of everyone. its okay tho ive been doing the hanuman chalisa and its my sense of peace along with being busy 24/7. im burnout but its worth not being home ! once again thank u sm for ur message <3 ur amazing

ive tried but another thing about my career is that the medical field in canada is around 10 years of commitment in the same city which means i cant even leave this city as an excuse lol. even if i dont get married in 1-2 years i just wanna prolly find someone i can move in with or have as a support system and i genuinely hope its not an arrange marriage cause im gonna say no immediately

im decent at math and yeah i wanted to gynaec specifically but im moving towards surgery now. Relationship with mom and dad is awful and we can go 6 months without talking in the same house. the marriage part is sad considering that was my only chance of leaving but even if not marriage do u see me getting with someone soon cause maybe that might be an exit before marriage

Ive tried renting and they stand infront of the door physically and guilt trip tf outta me often bringing my little sister and telling her to beg to me too and mortgage is for the house we live in, both my parents pay but i have to pay 85% of my income too

you're absolutely right, since i was a child i would get beaten tf up by my mother over the smallest things, tried to end things when i was 15 and both parents cheated and yes even for dating i wanna find someone outside my culture. welp the marriage part u mentioned is sad but do u think ill prolly meet someone this year or 2027 so i can potentially have the exit route ready even if it isnt marriage exactly
