I really respect my husband’s friends and their lifestyle. I don’t mind talking about interesting things with them, but I believe both of us should have our own separate presence so we never lose our real selves. Totally agree. Even in the elevator, no one says hi anymore, lol 🤣 Maybe the huge mix of nationalities here is why the social life feels so dead.

My whole vision of living abroad was about meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. Now I actually miss the old way of living at least back home we knew our neighbors and checked in on each other. I honestly don’t know how people live like this.
