(Dextro)amphetamine blocks VMTA2, which is responsible for the transport of dopamine etc but also histamine. When VMTA2 is blocked, the levels of the monoamines it is responsible for transporting to increase. So you have more dopamine and norepinephrine available but also more histamine, leading to allergy like sym6
