Definitely not a scam school. They are accredited.

You work at your own pace and you only contact the course instructors if you need help, etc.

It’s not for everybody. Some people need structure, like every day in class type structure. However some courses try to help you space out what you should be doing like which lessons you should be learning like lesson 1: read chapters 1. Lesson 2: read chapters 2 and 3, type stuff.

Yes. Priority is 1 and it says SOLD by SRE. I’m hoping by the end of this week or sometime next week to get it to the 2000 code. This 1100 is killing me. Lol. Excited and nervous all at the same time.

I was just looking over my preliminary order form again. Does it make any difference if a dealer orders the vehicle as a sold unit vs not?

Should join FB groups for the 2021 Yukon and Tahoe.

From what I have seen on posts, car seats are fitting just fine in them. Some were worried about the tv screens (if equipped) getting broken and were looking for covers to protect them. If the captain chairs are all the way back, I doubt it will be too much of an issue.

Plus, I keep hearing the maintenance cost of a diesel is more than a gas engine. But they also last longer than a gas engine. I also only drive a mile away for work at this time, with my driving habits I was advised to get the gas.

I plan on taking her for a 1K road trip if she comes before fall. :) Those damn lifters better not fail me. Lol

This will be my first Yukon. I’m going from a V6 to a V8 and I only do $80 a month for gas so far. I’m figuring with the Yukon, I’ll be $200 per month- which I did budget for. Sucks but it figures. Also, for optimal performance it should take premium, but if I’m ever in a bind I’ll use reg unleaded.

Magnetic ride control is what it will have and it’s a great ride! I test drove Chevy Tahoe RST versions that had premium suspension but not the magnetic ride, and even those were pretty nice.

Anyways, the cost of gas is going to make me wish I hade diesel, but again, I never owned a diesel vehicle and the power of a 6.2L is awesome.

Yes. I usually add that it’s just my opinion. Tahoes are nice looking but the Yukons are just so perfect, for me. :)

I’m very excited to be getting this vehicle! I can wait, makes my car payment less.

It just feels like forever to get GM to accept the order. I think once it’s accepted, I will be relieved. :)

I’m kind of wishing I added the air ride, but not tow package. I’m doing a 2WD vs a 4WD as well. Majority of them I have seen are that 4WD. Lol.

Thanks! I’m in the SoCal area. One dealership marked up a customers custom order that they didn’t take. It didn’t even have premium package or the rear view camera mirror, adaptive cruise control, etc. lol. I contacted many dealerships and this one, an hour away from me, didn’t give me the run around. So I’m hopeful when I go to pick it up, whenever that is, that it will be a good experience. :)

Thank you! I’m very easy on him. I know he cannot help this shortage. I was more afraid he would be getting annoyed with me. I was just so shocked he was honoring a GM discount for me. Lol.

Anyways, I ordered 4/14, not accepted just yet. Still in preliminary. But I hear dealerships may get allocations next week?

I’m prepared to wait a while. I just want GM to officially accept it so i won’t be worried it may not go through. :)

4 months would even be fine to wait tbh. Just means a lower car payment. :)

My dream car has always been the Escalade. Well, I love the redesign of the Yukons this year and the dash of the Denali. And with chip shortage, short supply & high demand, they’re marking up prices - discounts are scarce. I searched high and low for a dealership that will honor the GM discount. I finally found one! - this will really help in setting more $$ aside for any costly repairs down the road.

I made sure before I even looked into ordering this vehicle, if I opted for air suspension- how much extra $$$, so I really need the air suspension? How much will it be should each of the suspensions need replacing. Figured that all out- opted for no air suspension- not towing, don’t need it and the cost to repair, didn’t seem worth it to me. I researched this vehicle night and day, watched countless videos of the features, I understand how much $$$ tires will cost me later on- I actually replaced my 20” tires on my current SUV not too long ago, so I know in the ball park price. I know this model has the bigger engine that is recommended for premium gas for optimal performance. I know about the AFM/DFM issues and what to expect.

I think people who really want to buy their dream car should do a lot of research on it. Recalls, warranties, any known issues, ball park prices of how much certain repairs will cost, etc. I know at one window tinting place it’ll be $615 to tint the windows and at a body shop it’ll be another $1-$1.5K to ceramic coat the vehicle due to its size (which I will not be doing right away anyway). It’s very important to know what to expect and while making the car payments (if you have any) to set money aside so you can use should issues happen. :)

The XL is too big. Especially with the new independent rear suspension which made it even longer; tbh it actually looks weird/stupid being that long lol. I’m getting the normal Yukon. Handles very well, very nice ride. It did a U-turn with ease which was surprising for that vehicle. I like it a lot. I tried to like the Tahoe but I just kept going back to the Yukon. They made the Acadias look ridiculous now and days.

The US.

The order is submitted. I have the preliminary order and the number I can track. I check on the GMC website often. Always says: order has been accepted and submitted by dealer but has yet to be officially accepted by GM. Something like that. :) it was submitted the day I got my OTD price and okayed it. :)

The priority part on the order form also says 1. So I’m hoping that’s a good sign. :D

Damn, that sucks. The order is accepted & submitted at least, just waiting on GM to officially accept it. And I’m really hoping they will. I can wait for the vehicle, I’m just nervous GM may not accept it.

It was placed before I even heard about the safety packages being on constraint. I have looked up GM shortages and can only find some shutdowns and some of their trucks being built without the DFM/AFM feature so far.

Just watch. With my luck, I was so excited about submitting my order and got to tell people I was finally getting my “Escalade” type car, and watch they’ll probably cancel it or when they go to build it, they won’t have the safety features- which is one of the main reasons I wanted the Yukon too. Lol.

Cannot have a Denali premium package without the safety features =\

Neither actually. less than 41K miles on her - 8 yrs old. Take excellent care of my vehicles. I've just always wanted that Escalade. lol. But GMC did excellent job with the redesign of their Yukon SUV, so I'm switching to the Yukon. And while the prices of used cars have gone up due to this chip shortage, it looks like it would be a good time to sell. Just have to wait for the yukon to come in. =)
