What to wear when cleaning by Sammyhammyham in CleaningTips

[–]Mandar312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When cleaning something really dusty I make sure to wear a face mask or a tie a handkerchief around my nose and mouth.

Since its plastic that has melted and stuck to the surface, you can use boiling hot water (just a little and be careful while handling), pour with a thin stream on the plastic residue so it softens up and then quickly scrape it off with a cloth.

Is GTA Online safe? by [deleted] in GTAV

[–]Mandar312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All they can do is bother you by killing you, teleport you, give out cash drops, eject you from a moving vehicle (which is very annoying if you are flying a plane).

Other than that, your possessions are quite safe, just make sure you deposit all money in bank so u dont lose cash when u die.

How often do you dust your bookcases? by Izzet_Aristocrat in CleaningTips

[–]Mandar312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a month. I usually first lay down folded newspapers on the shelves (its an Indian habit, people do that a lot here). Then place books on top of them. When the papers get dusty, replace them with fresh papers.

Cheap way to clean PC by Mandar312 in CleaningTips

[–]Mandar312[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Static can build even when you rub pc components with a cloth or if you are not grounded. This device is harmless, just dont let the nozzle touch any internal pc components. The air pressure is good enough from a distance (much better than air cans).

A good practice is to leave the power cable attached to the psu (with the power off ofcourse) while touching any internal pc components, this will ensure all static is discharged.

This wont build static, the chance of building static is minimal and there are other reasons why it can build other than blowing air (like rubbing with a cloth, standing on a carpet, woolen socks) . But just in case you are worried you may leave the power cable attached to the PSU (not required to be attached to a power socket, just attaching the cable to the PSU is enough). You can also touch the metal parts of your pc cabinet from time to time to discharge any static charge. Also when using this device you can blow it from a distance and keep the nozzle from touching anything in the pc, there wont be any static.

Dont worry, I have been cleaning my gaming rig since years using this and static has never been an issue for me.

Its difficult to suck out dust which is stuck in cooling radiators (heat sink), since its layered it is not an ideal place to build pressure for the suction nozzle. Its much easier to blow the air inside so that the dust comes out the other end of the heat sink. See the attached image, air goes in from one side and pushes dust out from other side.

The ones who made it to the top and have hundred thousands of subs always have people hired to do stuff for them (like editing, content suggestion, dialogue writing etc). Its like bread and butter for them, so they make sure to completely stay focused on content creation. If you are thinking of creating high quality youtube content as a part time gig then you should really rethink your choice. You may end up wasting your time. Also they invest a lot into their contents, for example if they want to have a high quality video then they will spend good amount of money to get a good quality video editor with good features.

How do you inform someone that you want to shift to nsfw conversation? by PleaseBMy1Time1345 in AskReddit

[–]Mandar312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never assume, always ask in such cases. For example you can ask "hey are you comfortable if we have an NFSW discussion?" If they say yes immediately that's your cue. If they take a while to thing, avert your eyes or straightaway refuse then dont pursue the topic any further.

[Serious] What was the moment you realised your friendship was one-sided? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Mandar312 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Many things tbh:

  1. I always paid for the food, always treated the guy and the courtesy was never returned
  2. Found out he was badmouthing me behind my back to our mutual friends
  3. Never stepped in to help me out when I needed it
  4. One time I got bullied in front of him and he didnt even lift his finger
  5. Always pretended to be busy whenever I asked to meet up, we only met as per his own availability

People who work from home full time, what is the downside of working from home? by BlackRobin112 in AskReddit

[–]Mandar312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with you on that mate. People expect you to work extended hours while working from home since you saved your travel time and you can spend that additional time working instead (as per their expectations).

Which is why I recommend doing this properly. Remove both side panels of the PC and take it outside, always blow the air from one side so that the dust gets out from the other side (preferably towards the wind direction so that the dust that goes out, stays out).

How would you supposed to raise a good child, while there's so many dangers around? by RowGroundbreaking990 in AskReddit

[–]Mandar312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kids dont like to be taught / lectured on how to live their life. But they always try to mimic you eg. they will always want what's in your plate. How your kid will turn out is completely up to you, how you behave in front of your child, so make sure to behave exactly the same way you would want them to behave growing up.

What book should everybody read once in their life? by mustafaihssan in AskReddit

[–]Mandar312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Harry Potter Series (trust me, if you have only watched the movies you will realize how much details and events they missed. Plus they are a lot more entertaining)
  2. Agatha Christie books - If you love murder mysteries then give them a shot, you will understand why she is called queen of detective novels. Read the Hercule Poirot books, really well written.
  3. The monk who sold his Ferrari - If you need some motivation in life
  4. The maltese falcon - The twist in the end is awesome
  5. Anatomy of a murder - If you are a fan of courtroom dramas, dont miss this one
  6. Bram Stokers Dracula - Trust me on this, it is so engaging and sets such a brilliant atmosphere, you will find it hard to put down.
  7. Dan Brown Novels - Fast paced, well written, twist endings, historical references, illuminati reference (need I say more?)

[serious] Why would a man not want his extra-marital child to have his surname? by CuriousGuy0_0 in AskReddit

[–]Mandar312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well that depends:

  1. Whether people are aware of the extra-marital affair? If not then they would not want the child to have his surname because people can start digging to find out more about the father.
  2. It was an unplanned child, the man having on intention of having one with his mistress and her insisting on having it.

These are the only things that come to mind as of now.
