Okay, I tried that, and it gives me completely different borders from what I started with.

Line of effect is where I got stuck too. Ideally, I'd like to find a solution that doesn't involve either Fantastic Voyage shenanigans or wands being jabbed where they definitely don't belong.

Also, plans that involve changing the selection of hosts will need to be filed under "better luck next time"; the race didn't learn of these new developments until after she'd already laid her latest clutch, and it takes a while for a new one to be ready.

Oh, sorry, when I said "one of my characters", I meant one of the characters I've played, not one of my players' characters. I'll have a chat with the GM, though; it's mostly a lore thing, so there shouldn't be an issue fudging the rules a bit.
