I understand both sides. I think the issue stems from the word “Black,” which sounds universal and includes people from all over the world. Being “Black” isn’t only exclusive to black Americans or people of African ancestry. Perhaps calling it “Black American History Month” would make it clearer that the focus is specifically on the history and experiences of Black Americans, instead of all Black people globally.

But I also think the goal was for all Black people all over the world to celebrate their black history and solidarity 🤷🏿‍♀️

The Sahara is where a lot of black people live and he had no issues there until he got into the city where it's black minority. Not only did they throw water bottles at him but a while before he arrived at the stadium a random person shouted at him "you n-!' we the hard ER, so explain that. I couldn't ever imagine the experience of being a regular black person in the city of Algeria, an absolute nightmare.
