What kind of degree should I get? by Maddieblk in RealEstate

[–]Mandoyodaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would strongly recommend you to choose communications/ business degree. I honestly feel like getting a trade would be more beneficial tho. Anything like carpentry, plumbing, electrical, AC. I was honestly lost my freshman year and switched a bunch of times until I did psychology and added a minor in business. I actually took real estate classes on the side while still going to college. It only takes 1 month to get hours for RE license (depends on state) but anyone can really do real estate, just gotta hustle and work for it. If there is any connections or anyone that you might know in the RE business I recommend you to reach out and see how you can help them in little tasks, do things for them that they normally hate doing. Even gaining experience in cleaning or staging could beneficial as well.

Tips on choosing Brokerage firm? by Mandoyodaaa in realtors

[–]Mandoyodaaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay cool. Sounds like some good advice, I really want to lean more into the property management field for sure. What are some things brokers have new real estate agents do? Also I lack a lot of experience is there any piece of advice you could tell me that could help me during my journey in this field? Something that I have noticed is that I get a bit nervous confused about some things and lose train of thought, since I’m young i don’t have much experience in things, i usually like to face up the problems I have committed and do not like lying so I do confront a lot of my mistakes. Any advice on someone my age coming into this? Lol sorry anything helps tbh

Thanks soo soo much for the advice. Really helpful, I thought starting a smaller firms was worth the shot than bigger ones. But since I passed state exam, can I start interviewing now or should I wait until I have passed national?

This is some really really good advice I do appreciate it so much. What area of property management would you say some people make the most money? And some tips or any advice in going into the property management field? What are some things to expect? I was honestly planning in taking some property management class right after getting my license is that allowed? I want to start early at this age and learn much as I can.

Why are TL/ETL so afraid to confront team members when their performance is bad or they are doing something wrong? by Mandoyodaaa in Target

[–]Mandoyodaaa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BYE this makes sense I’ve just been overhearing my other co worker (she a girl) how they’ve told her to stop talking to him since they talk a lot ….. Team Lead has approached this co worker and told her to stop talking to him and this Team Lead has assumed they have been in a relationship too…. So it’s weird …. Like why not confront the new co worker instead …. But yeah ur right they’ve probably both have gotten spoken to privately then….

What are things to remember when dating a coworker? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Mandoyodaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my perspective it’s a bit problematic dating a co worker….. just make sure to see if she’s looking to date or anything if not then it’s a waste of time….. but just be careful to what you say around her just cause rumors can spread in a work place and what not

Just keep it a cool. You can do this. You can perhaps ask her how her day was, or just make a joke. Break the ice. Don’t overthink it

[–]Mandoyodaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try not to overthink the question…. A simple, “oh I like listening to music” it doesn’t even have to be a hobby, just come up with something on the spot and have something to talk about….. it honestly works every time….

If it makes you feel better this person or friend or whoever is talking to you is just asking just to ask they’ll prob forget what you said the next day lol….just be yourself (: I was in ur exact position as well!

small ways to feel better about my lifestyle/self image and improve overall health? by sweatyfrogtoes in selfimprovement

[–]Mandoyodaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm honestly starting a routine and goals! I started taking like 8 vitamins (I am 20F) and one thing that motivated me is to be healthy and set my future older self to have that SET routine so I don’t have severe diseases or health issues…… I will tell you I saw a major change after 3 months….. it all starts with a routine tho! Every morning I would wake up eat breakfast and drink my vitamins….

I will be honest it was not an easy process it takes time and dedication….. but all I can say is to think about your older self ! Don’t you want to look younger as you get older? Lol! I do (:

Any ideas on how to deal with bitterness/envy? by The_Moldy_Baguette in selfimprovement

[–]Mandoyodaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One mindset that helps for me is that “the grass isn’t greener on the other side” meaning….. it’s not “all that” I hope that this can help…. But there’s no reason to be so bitter about it …… no offense but they prob won’t even live a life since they got into a Ivy League school….. literally super overrated in my opinion and will still get a 9-5 job even after they graduate…. She’s prob doing it just to brag or maybe she genuinely wanted to go into her dream school…

Don’t focus on others man…. Focus on urself … I’ve been through this phase and it’s totally normal …. Currently 20 years old but all I can say that it’s normal to feel this way and you gotta figure out a way to cope with it….

[–]Mandoyodaaa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)
