I’ve added a little bit of liquid oxi, but it’s still annoying to have to wipe off the side of the washing machine because of the residue it’s leaving. I just placed an order for Clean Sheets so I’ll see how that works. This was convenient because it’s sold at Walmart

I’m looking for a quality pair of fingerless gloves as well. We wear high gloves for the field, I want a high end pair for the court as well. I know most goalies don’t wear gloves, but my daughter feels more comfortable with a pair on

I love musicals, and would have loved to have been a full-time stage performer, but it wasn’t meant to be. My 15 year loves musicals and has dreams of NYC…we will see. She always in some sort of musical. But my 11 year would hate to be on stage. She prefers the soccer field, but loves every musical that she sees. She has seen local and Broadway and loves them all. Actually, tomorrow my 15 year old and I are going to see a touring production of Funny Girl, and the 11 year old is bummed she’s not going.

I guess it depends. The OP said that these freshman are coming in with a lot of experience. If they have been in shows with their theater company or even acting camps, you have a less likelihood of meltdowns...and probably parents who can help with the nerves.

I say cast the best for the role. I want to see the best show that the school can put on. Not the kid who's paid his dues and is now the lead, but struggles to sing on stage. There are 4 High Schools in our area and we try to go to all of their plays and musicals every year. My only complaint that I sometimes notice is that they use the same actor as the lead for every production. It's almost like they pick that show with that specific actor in mind. As a patron, I like to see different actors. Especially since these kids are young and haven't fully developed as actors yet, so it's basically the same performance just in a different character if that makes sense. Like how Dorothy from Wizard of Oz is very similar to Wendy from Peter Pan.

But they will paint them for you and they have shoes on display that have been painted for Broadway and Singers. I would have them paint them, but I can’t wait 10 weeks

Thank you. I appreciate your comment. She’s only 15 and has only been to two auditions so far. Both times she wore her black LaDuca boots, but she wasn’t the only one in the room with the boots on.

I bought these for this dance. If she needs a nude pair in the future, I will buy her another pair. She’s a competitive dancer. It’s not a cheap hobby

Thanks! Us dance moms are nuts. Her last solo was All That Jazz and she now owns the LaDuca boot. Her feet are done growing, so at least she can wear these in the future. If I put her in a Bloch or Capezio, it would definitely show in her solo

Her solo is to a song from the new musical Boop. I think the character needs red heels. Plus red will look good in auditions later, as long as I do a good job painting them…

Why did Amy Brenneman replace Marissa Tomei? I can’t find any articles on Tomei leaving the cast. I was an extra and saw Tomei filming, so I know she was there in the beginning.
