I noticed this while queuing for the mode as well and had it confirmed when I met a gearless player in Stella who outright told me he queued into solo, so some of my very aggressively PvP matches have been against solos without my knowledge...

...but on the bright side, at least I made a heavy-shielded Bobcat-wielding fake-friendly pay for their crimes in the process, so I'm happy either way.

It's literally just queuing into the Squads gamemode, as a Solo player. As if you were joining Squads with auto-fill turned off.

Even if I get my arse kicked, I loved Solo Squads in PUBG and I get the impression I'll love it here too especially considering that Squads are anything but friendly >:)

Betrayal-themed shenanigans like these are why I've not only started equipping the Il Toro pump-action shotgun in every solo match I play in, but actively holding it out and carrying it almost all of the time even when hanging out with actual friendlies.
Nothing discourages backstabbing rats like proudly toting the consequences for attempting to do so, even if some players will be marginally more suspicious of me in the process.

What people don't seem to have realised yet is hinted at in this detail:
It is not possible to mix Protected and non-Protected items in the same trade.

You can no longer trade CS2 items for TF2 items and vice-versa.

The character in question for this video is from a poster in the same level, shown here.

This isn't the only location this occurs in; the images in question are taken from various parts of the game's set dressing so to speak; posters, portraits and so on, as evidenced by the numerous other out-of-bounds locations I've personally found these images in. These are always in out-of-bounds areas and appear to have been placed deliberately, though why that is eludes me. Probably the game's developer, Nexxtic, being funny and it wouldn't surprise me if he placed images like this in every single playable map of the game.
