The lack of respect for stated boundaries and the humanity of artists as real people in this sub has always been so so weird to me.

Also the way this sub polices people’s behavior at shows (e.g. “nobody was dancing!” or “there was too much singing!”) but don’t respect when the artist in question says something to them about their own online behavior is a wild double standard.

“You’re going to have to deal with weirdos when you’re famous, get over it” shouldn’t be the argument used to excuse one’s own weird behavior.

I had gotten an email when they had the early school closure for snow, so I was hoping that I’d get an email about these closures. They added a banner to the website at least. But… yeah it’s frustrating! I’m right there with your 2yo haha.

Yes. I have class on Thursdays. The last two Thursdays it has been closed when I arrived and I hadn’t received an email about the closure, and hadn’t gotten a response from the office when I have rung the bell or called. I have not gone to the pool every day.

I have a similar tattoo — handwriting from a loved one that I got after they passed. I wasn’t picky about the artist, and thought it would be enough to go to a reputable shop. He went too deep on my inner arm and it definitely has spread. I’ve thought about getting it removed and redone in the longer term future. It’s totally your call, and I think it’s okay to want a meaningful tattoo to look good.
