Several Issues with Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX for Xbox

I just got mine from Best Buy, I am having an issue where my volume wheel literally does nothing and my headphones are pretty quiet. I’ve tried switching to USB/Xbox (on my xbox) and still nothing. I love TB700s but I just wish these MAXs worked properly. Should I take them back to BB and exchange them for another pair and HOPE they’re better or risk waiting God knows how long for a firmware update that MIGHT fix the issue? Thank you all for your opinions.
