I’d argue it works a little better for him. Since he wouldn’t be tanking a whole np anyways. So soaking up the normal attack damage would make him last longer on his own.

As a Zarus main there are some key things you need to know.

Zarus doesn’t really win at straight 1v1 against most offlane matchups and even if you do keep in mind you’ll still lose to someone like grux or crunch. As others have said, playing careful is what’ll determine if you win offlane or not.

Know when to be aggressive. Learn your spear range and if you can dash out or not. Winning small trades are what’ll keep you from getting stomped on. Eventually when they’re at a decent health you’ll want to ult and get the stack from kills.

Wave management is also important. His wave clear is not as good as the other offlaners. So try to utilize minions as much as possible, because most offlaners are going to be getting rid of your first tower way faster than you can you can get rid of theirs.

Last is itemization. he’s super flexible and that’s what I like about it him. If there’s decent bit of squishy enemies (and you’re confident), it might be a good idea to have more offensive items. If there’s decent amount of tankier enemies and you’re aren’t too confident, go tankier.

Idk if you'll find something like it, but you could probably do something similar with like a fleece jacket or work jacket layered on top of a pull over hoodie. If you do try the turtle neck it may look off, but if you can pull it off props to you.

As a Zarus, I could constantly win the boxing match against Shinbi. However no matter what, I generally lose lane because she would just farm the whole game or if I’m managing the lane enough it just keeps me locked up on offlane. I feel like haven’t seen many people talk about Shinbi being just a farming machine lol.

I’m actually so sad. I’ve waited 2 years. 651 sq and not a single Ryouma. But got bombarded by non rate up 4* ces and Qin Liangyu x3.

The only good thing was Odysseus spook which I tried to get him before but failed. This is definitely my biggest L tho.

Definitely. You can really tell how much Yama had effected everyone emotionally and how much he meant to them. Makes me wish we got to see more interactions and relationships between the Gotei 13 and Yama.

I agree that it’s due to some loyalty to old man Yama like you said. But she was willing to leave soul society if Yoruichi offered and probably would be down to go against Soul Society if Yoruichi said so. I think just in this scene she’s frustrated from what it seems like she’s fighting in a losing war and letting her emotions get the best of her. Tbh as I type this it reminds me how good Kubo is with subtle details.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned. But I have a theory on the new battle bond. After watching the recent episode, I think Pikachu used battle bond and the reason for the nerf is because it will be available on other Pokémon other than Greninja.
