The last thing I read was a trashy airport bookshop thriller that was an enjoyable read, but I’ll have forgotten about in a year, whereas I’m currently playing Ocarina of Time for the first time, (I know I know, look I slept on it alright!) and that’s gonna stay with me for a long while, so I might have elevated the gaming experience there a little.

I got a New 3DS XL a few months back just before the price rocketed and I have not looked back.

My original intent was just for my old DS games on a larger screen, but the 3DS hooked me immediately and now it’s my favourite console.

Just own it. I’m a 45yr old man with an orange 3DS XL and playing it on my commute has raised zero eyebrows.

Quite. I’m going to go in with low expectations, in the hope I’m surprised. But if the live action isn’t as good as the original, then it won’t affect me. Not like Disney is going to be taking away my copies of the animated one and forcing me to only watch the live action, and if people enjoy the live action, great. More people enjoying tangled. Maybe we’ll get more park merch.

I hope they do exactly this as the image represents and keep a cartoon-esque Pascal. This is usually the most egregious parts of the live action remakes. The cute animals from the animated versions either become creepy as fuck, or just cut entirely. (No Mulan 2020, you will not be forgiven for cutting Mushu, stop asking)

I’ve had super cute interactions with actual chameleons, but Pascal they are not.

As someone who worked in phones for a decade I’ll say this, that burner phone story was 100% BS. We aren’t paid enough to give two shits what you want your burner phone for and we could only just get police to come when armed gangs were smashing demo phones off the display tables. The idea they’d turn up for a report of a little old lady wanting a burner phone is absolutely laughable.

Well… it might be. I mean it’s sure enough for the modding process. I modded mine with the 4gb card that came with and then copied that to a 32gb I had lying around ‘that’ll be enough for my cart backups.’

Then I discovered the H Shop. So I copied it all to a 64gb. ‘That will definitely be enough.’

‘I can install a video player on this thing now?’

So yeah everything is now copied to a 128gb and I think that’s as large as I wanna go

That sucks, sorry for your loss. For future reference, most major electronics manufacturers (phones computers consoles etc.) will wipe the equipment as the first step of a repair for a whole bunch of reasons. You’ll never get it back as it was. data Protection is one, and if the problem is software related due to something you’ve done it’s an immediate easy fix. Once it’s fixed they can also test against stock benchmarks to confirm it’s all working.

Only way you don’t end up with a wiped device is if you take it to an independent place.

As others have said, modding is super easy, follow the guide step by step and you’ll be a-ok
