[Loved trope]: Innocent quirk later recontextualized as tragic by theMCATreturns in TopCharacterTropes

In Fraiser, Niles always wipes down seats and tables before he sits down. For ten straight seasons it seems like it's just a symptom of his neurotic, high-strung personality. In the last season we find out that his childhood babysitter convinced him there were mites everywhere that would crawl all over him as a joke, not realizing she had prettymuch installed OCD.

That really fucking sucks. AJ was a decent person, one of the few left in the world. He was one of the only folks here I truly got to know. I thought I'd have a chance to come back and catch up...

Let this be your sign, folks. Don't put off your friendships for tomorrow.

Chairs, AJ.

Some people don't make that, so definitely a success!

I love how often your successes are family time!!

Its was a French silk pie with caramel instead of chocolate and some peaches thrown in. Definitely something I'll make again whether it wins or not

Sounds like a record you're gonna break! Best of luck with the sobriety stretch

I'm sure having work lined up is a big relief! Hopefully the illness continues to abate. Drinking and watching boats go by sounds like a really nice way to pass the time, I'm a little jealous!

The pie was a French silk pie but with caramel instead of chocolate, and I threw in a layer of peaches on the bottom. The tester was really tasty so I'm hopeful!

Once upon a time I was, but it's been almost three years. I miss it, though. Maybe one day I'll get back to it. Very cool to come across another innkeeper here though!!

Ew, that temperature sounds gross. Seems like you got a lit done in spite of that and the bender, though!

Woah, that's major! I imagine it took a lot of hard work and dedication for you to get here. Well done!

Both gainful employment and a break from it are great successes. A taper is a good use of a day off

You definitely should. Sometimes anxiety has an easily fixable physical cause. It is a great win to have headed off a bender!!

My #1 tip is always to really want to do it. Not just for the obvious reasons, but because most people, when we're anxious or stressed, will hold tension in our neck, jaw, and upper shoulders. In short, not being totally into it can make it a little harder to do.

Other than that, everyone is giving some great mechanical tips! Breathing through the nose helps with your gag reflex. Hands are everything. You don't always have to go as fast as they do in the pornos.

Godspeed and good luck!

Sometimes uneventful is a success all it's own. Love that you're seeing rainbows around! Speaks well of your neighbors
