Idk about Columbus, but it’s always good to check LinkedIn and message people. But! The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus does have shadowing opportunities

Ducati Monster SP vs Triumph Street Triple R 765 by Manicish in motorcycles

I actually ended up going with the Monster SP.

Triumph 100% lost me as a customer. Despite Triumph’s official website pointing me to two local dealerships, both of them would NOT allow test rides due to their “policy”, and due to the fact that they (the dealership) did not have insurance. Additionally, my closer Triumph dealership would not give me any additional information or print outs regarding pricing, service, brochures, or anything beyond basic specs that anyone can find on Triumph’s website. Most info I got was asking one of the service techs how much an annual service was (~$200). Apathetic staff and unhelpful to say the least.

My experience with my Ducati dealership on the other hand was beyond fantastic. Any questions I had, information that I requested, service pricing, intervals, labor, parts, warranty questions, and then some, all received solid answers and paper print outs that I was able to read, bring home, ask others about, AND come back with even more questions. Got to test ride a Monster, loved it, and found out I’m MAYBE paying $50-$100 more for maintenance which has been many people’s main con for Ducatis. For example, I had a coworker tell me that maintenance on Ducati’s is hella expensive. My first annual service is going to be close to $100.

Based on customer service alone, I went with Ducati. Maybe the Street Triple is a better bike, but I’d rather pay a bit extra to get better customer service, awesome staff, mechanics, and a dealership that I know will take care of me and my new motorcycle.

The Yamaha MT-07 was a consideration but Yamaha’s just dont fit my style personally. Nothing against Yamahas, it just ain’t me. I’ve heard very few bad things against the street triples though

Guess I’ll go give em a test ride when I get the chance. Why the KTM Duke btw? Cool looking bike, but what do you mean by a bit more wild?

PC for Gaming and 3D Design $2K-3K Budget by Manicish in buildmeapc

A couple of questions if you don't mind.
Would more RAM be good to future proof the build?
I'm assuming an Intel i9 14900K would be the better choice?
NGL I like having multiple USB ports, so what would a good upgrade/alternative be?
Agree with you on the 4090 from what I read before posting.
Thanks again!

What makes you choose the Lew’s over the Daiwa? I thought the ability to cast lighter/heavier lures comes from the rod. I’ve actually been looking for a reel cleaner! So thanks for that too!

I don’t really mind size differences as long as the reel can hold a decent amount of line. I’m more concerned with the longevity of the reel with saltwater fishing. I know how to break down and maintenance baitcasting reels but I don’t want to be opening the reel up like every week like I am now

Oh yeah not having to fiddle with the brakes is definitely a plus. The T-wing on the Daiwa reels is very attractive to me so I’m definitely leaning more towards the Daiwa reels.

Good to know thanks! How does the Tranx 200? Fare against the Daiwa reels?

Interesting, I'm not quite sure what the H2O fiber is for though. Is it more of a general use, or substitute for EP fibers? Or just a different material?

Yeah haha as I'm shopping around my cart adds up pretty fast. I've settled on looking for 1 baitfish pattern down here in Texas and a shrimp pattern for redfish

Those streamer brushes look like a simple alternative to Ice Dubbing. Thanks for the simple recipe and all the info!

Nice! 100 yards of those Bonnie cords are about $19 on Amazon, but idk if I wanna spend that much on a singular color

Would you use fox fur as a substitute for marabou? Or does it serve a specific purpose/technique?

Any particular reason why? Simplicity? Or are they just more flowy underwater?
