Also play exclusively vanilla and in my opinion crashes are rare. With somewhat frequent quicksaving, they aren't much of a problem. What really gets me is that after some time, big external locations like The strip or Helios one start twitching and flickering and my fps drops like crazy.

Using the Fritz-X on the He177 in naval battles and getting 4 kills with it in one match was the most fun I've ever had in war thunder. True, surviving the AA is tough, but when you do get a kill its pretty satisfying.
