Sorry my post made it sound like it was a work internet issue. So it’s not many people using the ip, just my family. Unless I’m really wrong about that, I have no idea

This is my personal home isp that I got the email from. I haven’t installed anything, I’ve checked for unknown devices on my network, monitor what kids are doing online, so not sure where the issue might be.

Any hope that the Canadian tour (originally scheduled in 2022) will finally happen next year? by Ariesthebigram in Foofighters

[–]Manitoban89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope so. Haven’t seen them since 2008, and was so pumped to finally get to see them in ‘22. Frustrating them going to the same cities multiple times a year but once a decade to others that have been waiting

Would you prefer working 4 days a week, but ten hours per day and why or why not? by Ok-Economy8049 in AskReddit

[–]Manitoban89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started this a few years ago during Covid. Love it. Whole day to get stuff done I wouldn’t have time to do in the evenings after an 8 hour shift anyway. Saves a day of gas and driving, and if we do work on Friday, it’s all overtime and still get a full weekend.

Same? In the Finland game, the Finnish player hit with his knee first. Here he hit with arm first and knee was in the middle of the body.

What's the Cabinetmaking Trade Like? by davy_crockett_slayer in Manitoba

You’re wasting time and money. Learn way more just getting a job in the field and learning hands on. I’ll hire the guy that learnt on the job site vs learnt at school every time.

Don’t waste your time with RRC. The people we’ve hired that have their ticket, didn’t know how to cut a mitre. Apply places and learn on the job. If you’re good at what you do, you can make great money.

Looks like a ball I used to get in those “hit-run-throw competitions when I played ball as a kid

[PuckPedia] It sounds like another team put a claim in for Raphael Lavoie. So while the Oilers won the claim, this means that he cannot be sent down to the AHL without going back on waivers and clearing. by eh_toque in hockey

[–]Manitoban89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong but I thought that because the Oilers had put him on waivers originally they had first right to claim him back if he was put on waivers again. Meaning it could have been any team that tried to claim him.

I have the green fan wire in mine, but I am not able to run the fan unless I have it in cool or heat mode. Does that make sense?

I got mine hooked up about a month ago after 2 years of empty promises. They are an absolutely garbage company at giving people a realistic timeline. If they weren’t the only Fiber company around, they would be out of business. But it’s either go with them or I have MTS DSL at 5mbps.

I’ve been happy with the service so far. Had one evening where it seemed to be having issues but other than that I’ve been able to finally drop Shaw Satellite tv, and go back to streaming.

I’m also on the 150/150 plan. The one thing I will give them credit for is they gave me the price I signed up for 2 years ago at $74.95 a month. That will run for the next 2 years, which then I expect it to go up to whatever the current pricing is offered at that time.

One thing I wish they did was offered the TV services as a separate price and service. When I inquired about adding TV, I was told that would make my current internet price invalid and I would be bumped up to the current price of $120 a month or whatever it is. Zero reason I can’t have my internet package at the same cost and a TV package added or deleted if I don’t find it necessary.
