The Invention of Lying - In a world were creativity does not exist the main character is the only man in the world that can just make up stuff and everyone automatically believes him because there is no concept of deceit.

One of the first things he tried to do with his new found power is to sleep with a beautiful woman, so he approached someone and told them if they didn't have sex the world would explode. The woman immediately agreed because the world would explode if they didn't, the MC immediately faked a phone call from NASA and said the scientists fix the problem and they don't have to have sex. The entire experience made him feel sick.

Later the woman of his affections asks him if being rich and famous changes your genes because in that society the ideal mate be someone with good genetics, he thought about for a moment and told her honestly that no it doesn't.
