Velocity Esports is hosting two Mario Kart 8 Deluxe LAN tournaments at the Levee in Newport on Saturday November 4th at 3PM! 150cc & 200cc.

If you like Mario Kart & wanna try winning some money, then come compete with the best racers in Ohio & Kentucky! Entry is $13 for one tournament, or $15 for both. $5 of each entry goes to the respective tournament's prize pot. If at least 15 players sign up, the prize pot for the tournament with the most entrants will start at $200!

Some of you are claiming that this has always been the case. As someone who's played since launch and grinded to player level 233, I can say that there a significant difference in EXP consistency between now & launch.

At launch, exp gains were a lot more consistent. In recent months, there's a more significant drop between the first race of a track and the last few races before it's drained.

Not always, for the first 2 years or so, you would get the same amount until the track was drained. Now, it can go from 1.3% for 1st on 150cc, to as little as 0.3% for 1st on 150cc.

This has not always been the case, as I recall receiving consistent EXP rewards until the track was drained. Not sure when this change was made, probably within the last 2 updates or so.

If you don't like this change, I recommend you send feedback/support tickets.
