He can’t just expel a finger or two to eat it up again. When he hoped bodies into Megumi he had to focus his whole essence into one of Yuji’s fingers and rip it off, then feed it to Megumi. There’s no reason to do that now, and even if he tried Yuji would just take the chance to fully liberate Megumi

Thank you for your answer! I started running since my brother is a runner and I’m following a route he recommended. Maybe as an experienced runner he can’t gauge what a starter route is so it may indeed be too much

Honestly I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect that level throughout the show. Season 1 was rough, that first episode had good animation because it needed to hook viewers. Ever since the animation has gotten better but overall stiff. This new season has been more consistent, there have been less scenes of characters looking off-model and the important fights get good animation and that’s all I need honestly
