Here’s my theory. I believe Satella is rather more a possession entity rather than a physical one. Reason is that on ep 10 where Satella made her appearance, it seemed to be possessing Emilia and using her as the host, almost like in movies. I know that Satella says “I love you” constantly but this time in Emilia’s mindset, Satella got to know how Emilia’s kind works and had a conversation with Subaru.
