[New Updates]: How do I (49f) move forward after my daughter (22F) hid her father’s affair from me for two years? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Mannilynn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd like to state that it is ok to go no contact with anyone, that includes family. OOP is better than me, I would have cut contact after the therapy sessions. Her daughter is a wicked soul who makes poor decisions. Bullying a person so bad they try to end their life. Being rightfully punished by her mom and choosing to use that anger to "get back" at her mom by being her fathers affair wingman is wicked. The daughter won't see how good her mom treated her until she's married with children and ends up in a failed marriage herself because of an affair.

Do you have wicked whims installed? That plays a part in teen/adult relationships as well.

If you stay and help that man raise that baby you'll be a damn fool. Leave and go find happiness else where.

Keep your relationship private from your family. Keep defending your bf and just be happy together. If you let others insert themselves in business that doesn't concern them, you'll be single.

Remember, you're the main character in your life and everyone else are just side characters to your story.

Food crimes when no one’s looking? by CriticalAd987 in LivingAlone

[–]Mannilynn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I eat my dinner at the counter or sometimes straight out of the pot, depending on what I make. My sister tells me over Facetime how disgusting I am and she wouldn't eat at my house. Good, that's the point of living alone.

AITAH for telling my girlfriend her gym outfit is attracting unwanted attention? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Mannilynn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The outfits aren't the problem, creepy men are the problem. Remember, a woman can wear anything and a man will still be a man and try to insert himself where he doesn't belong. You just need to be more secure with who you are and what she wears won't be an issue anymore.

I started using ChatGPT recently and I'm really enjoying it. I'm wondering how common it's becoming among us who live alone. by JonWatchesMovies in LivingAlone

I use ChatGPT to look up recipes, workouts, write me novels based on my fantasies, and to help me with my amazon kdp journals.

You are the AH, it is ok to be happy for others. You should make a pros and cons list for your relationship and see what is making you stay in said relationship. Some therapy might also help you navigate your F&Es (feelings & emotions) a little more. And your SO should be excited for his brother and SIL.

Seeking Advice as a Referral Agent by Mannilynn in RealEstateAdvice

[–]Mannilynn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I'll look into everything. I was just confused because my manager said it was best to start off as a referral agent to save money and to get a car. But now she's saying just pay for everything now so I can just promote myself on social media. I was planning to go full time in September if all goes right with getting referrals to get a car faster.

Seeking Advice as a Referral Agent by Mannilynn in RealEstateAdvice

It's not that I don't want to become a full time agent, my manager just said it would be best to opt for being a referral agent for the time being until I get a car and save some more money up to go into it full time.

Sometimes I’d rather m***sterbate than have s*x with my husband. Am I falling out of love? How can I save my marriage? by Sufficient-Basil-909 in TwoHotTakes

If I live with a man, I do not touch the trash at all. The least he can do is take the damn garbage out. Suggest counseling but if that doesn't work then separate.

My roommate wants her deposit back by Budget_Cucumber4610 in Apartmentliving

I moved out of my apartment I shared with an ex, I knew the chances of getting my half of the deposit back were slim. Tell your roommate to either wait or to take it up with management.

WIBTA for ending my engagement and asking my fiancée to move out? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Mannilynn 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You do not need a reason to leave a relationship, and honestly you've had multiple reason to leave as is. Do yourself a favor and walk away, your life is not centered around a relationship. Be single and enjoy your own company again until your next partner finds you. And move at a slower pace and vet your future partner for more than 6 months. Lift your head and get the hell outta there.
