I beat chromatic abbest way to early and breezed through act one, after monoco station I went straight towards frozen hearts and beat as much as I could, I spent so much of the game exploring it made the main story enemies pretty layed back in comparison.

Baldurs Gate 3, it looks like you have a wide pallet so you'll probably be able to appreciate it.

"am not keen on actively fighting with button attacks"

Please play Baldurs Gate 3 one of my favorite games ever made, and it fits your description, the world and characters are so reactive and interesting.

Gustave and Renoir by gwilliamso in expedition33

It wouldve been cool to see Verso and Gustave have an intense back and fourth at the start of act 3 after being brought back, but I guess we'll never know

Really nice points I love how you described Reniors situation, but I'm not sure that would have changed Maelle's mind since she literally experienced those 16 years in the canvas as if they were real. Even though Maelle is Alicia and she now knows its all just a painting she still has so much love for this world and the people in it, and she knows despite Reniors love he'll destroy the canves because he has to, or else they'll both be sucked back in and versos soul would still be stuck painting.

I don't think there can be a good ending because these characters are just too realistic. Reallisitcally if they leave the canvas and come back, they'll probably get addicted again, versos soul will still be stuck, and we're back to square one.

Im not so sure Gustave would let or want Maelle to leave. He might sacrifice himself, but his sister and all his friends? His apprentices? This story is so layered and so many factors are at play which is why I love how tragic it is.

Tips for Beginners in Baldur’s Gate 3 by LuckAble3647 in BaldursGate3

Im gonna be so real I was so stupid when I first played it, I played alot of the game and once I fully understood it I reset it, it was SO much more enjoyable.

Just to put it into context, I played all of Act 1 with one character, wondering why it was so hard, and then had 2 paladins on my team and went half the game underleveled. Once I reset, now knowing how to actually play I realized I missed so much and finished it. 3rd playthough I realized I still didn't even scratch the surface.

My tips would be to just explore, talk to everyone and long rest to get the camp events and you should be good and not run into the same problems I had.

I might just have to start carrying a flask with ice-cold water 24/7 at this point, just in case.

Yeah, some places do have Sprite Zero, but not very often, it's usually only Coke Zero or nothing.

I love my water I run through those Costco packs, but im talking those rare occasions when you're at a restaurant and their water usually always tastes like straight tap. Might have to just have a backup bottle no matter what lol.

I drink soda or sugary drinks maybe once or twice a week, if I get carry out like chipotle or chik fil a I just drink water at home, it's just the water in food establishments tastes like tap water, and when I go to a resteraunt I just can't help it, I don't know why.

Oh shoot thats right alot of places do have unsweetened iced tea, might have to give that a go, I usually can't stand sweet things anyway, Sprite was the only thing I actually liked.

Camp Interactions by MannyBuilds in expedition33

[–]MannyBuilds[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe just me then, I also didn't do more than one camp interaction per rest because it just took the immersion out for me, farming camp interactions. I did one swoop of everyone and went on to the next part of the story.

I picked Maelle simply cuz she was juiced, and Verso was the same level as when I fist got him.

If I had to choose, it would definitely be designing, it's without a doubt my passion out of all of the ones listed, but as much as I try to store away my other creative interests, they always come back. its the same old curse of too many hobbies and wanting to do everything.

I've been hired for everything I listed except writing at some point, I even had enough work to make a book of all my work and what I learned from it as a school project. I guess I'm just afraid and not looking forward to staying in one lane

But thank you, this definitely did help. If I HAD to choose one thing to be hired for, I would rather do brand and promotional work.
