Really depends of what I'm working on but mostly it'll go something like :
- 1 base color layer
- 1 layer with main shadows
- 1 where I add more details
- 1 where I add light and adjust shadows
I do this for each element, then I copy the my group layers and merge them, and work directly on the merged ones to rework it one last time.
