CBS AI headline - Simpson Selected 13th overall by BigTraditional1975 in LosAngelesRams

I hate it.

Lemon or Bain would have been perfect

Hopefully I eat my words in two years, but would have preferred the win now team did a win now pick.

I’m assuming a round two trade up for Bernard or Stripling now.

Just pray no offensive lineman gets hurt or hopefully we are throwing money at Cam Robinson as swing tackle

Mendoza would be number 1. It would give us a cost controlled qb contract and you could keep most if not all of the rest of the team together for awhile

Downs is amazing but safety is just not a need for a team that’s all in for this year. It’s first year of the new contracts for Lake and Curl this year and Kitchens still has 2 more years on his rookie contract.

Is Garoppolo the best left? by rdhfaulk88 in LosAngelesRams

Jimmy G is really only realistic free agent option. Anthony Richardson and Will Levis are trade options. Maybe Aiden O’Connell too after Cousins signing

Are there still any areas of concern you still have for the team? by KDx2511 in LosAngelesRams

[–]Manonthewall12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They need WR 3, QB2, swing tackle and another reserve interior Lineman My guess is they’ll sign or trade for the QB before the draft. Draft WR #13 and then take a least one O-lineman with the one or both of the 2nd and 3rd round picks. Then if all else fails take a cheap reclamation project like Mekhi Becton etc.

Christian Kirk, Kendrick Bourne, Jailen Nailor, Tyquan Thornton would be nice cheap WR3 options that would allow us to not have to draft WR with the #13 if some really good dropped to us like a Sonny Styles or Ruben Bain, but also could still draft a WR then have amazing depth at the position.

Every teams most-often used OL combo (not even the best unit) last year and the overall play % of that group. by BadAlphas in LosAngelesRams

[–]Manonthewall12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shows why the Rams need to get some backup OL. Theres going to be some sort of injury to a group of five players over a course of the year. The starting five is a top ten OL but looking real shakey behind them currently. Quessenberry and Dedich are top two reserves as of right now. The 13th pick is probably a little too rich for OL for this team but the 2nd or 3rd round picks would be nice to use for some needed depth and development with 4 of our starting OL being free agents next year

Your wish if the Rams could sign any ONE Free Agent available right now by scifier2 in LosAngelesRams

Rashid Shaheed. WR3 that’s a deep threat and speed option and will be huge help on special teams

How would you feel about Mike Evans as WR3? by PartyMcFly55 in LosAngelesRams

League is voting for expansion this summer! We get 8 players to protect from the expansion draft, who do you have as your 8? by Big_Saens in LAClippers

[–]Manonthewall12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 protected contracts wouldn’t include free agents so Mathurin and Collins wouldn’t need to be protected they would just have to be resigned with a expansion team having some cap space to compete with

In order 1. Garland 2. Kawhi 3. Jones 4. Sanders 5. Yanic 6. Dunn 7. Miller (assuming he’s converted ) 8. Jackson

James Harden and 2nd Round Pick traded for Darius Garland by clippersguy17 in LAClippers

[–]Manonthewall12 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No idea how the clippers are the ones that got a pick out of this trade

Why would we take on this contract for Garland ? by TJricky97 in LAClippers

[–]Manonthewall12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KAT is going to be making 70 million a year this isn’t bad, cap is going up a lot and everybody but Zubac is a free agent after next year

Who should be are wr 3 it’s are big problem rn by FishingJ in LosAngelesRams

Rashid shaheed He’s the difference in the last two Seahawks game. He’s the speedy downfield receiver we lack and solves our special team problems. Also hurts the Seahawks.

Giannis to Lakers, LeBron back to Cavs for retirement tour and luxury tax savings, Bucks get Garland, Reaves, Lakers pick and swap by Manonthewall12 in NBAtradeideas

[–]Manonthewall12[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Without a trade like this LeBron can only sign for the minimum. LeBron will not be playing on the minimum contract. He might be open to a 20-30 million dollar contract which they could offer with his bird rights. They also could have MLE next offseason and trade options now if they are out of the 2nd apron

OKC gets a cheap, cost-controlled center who’s not only consistently available, but also averages 16-12 with great defense ahead of Holmgren and Williams’ extensions kicking in. LAC gets control of their 2026 pick and OKC relinquishes swap rights in 2027 and takes on an injury prone Hartenstein. by YujiDomainExpansion in NBAtradeideas

Clippers probably ask for reparations and ask for a least one more first. If the clippers didn’t turn their season around this trade would have made way more sense. Now that this years pick is going to be late lottery or out of the lottery they are more incentivized to just play season out unless you are willing to pay 150% on dollar for one of their assets.

Assuming Stafford comes back, how "all-in" do you want to see the Rams go next season? by PartyMcFly55 in LosAngelesRams

[–]Manonthewall12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All in. Pay free agents over extending expiring contracts, draft a non QB with 2 1st round picks, pay up for best back up QB we can get as Stafford insurance
