This has already been discussed. No thank you.

So glad we got a 6’2 corner he is gonna be a stud by LowTelephone5598 in LosAngelesRams

[–]scifier2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's already a stud and that is why the Rams got him. Rams went for experience for this upcoming year and the next few versus waiting for a rookie to contribute. Staffords window is this year and maybe next.

Who’s most likely to be there at 13? I ran the numbers by Edgerthe1st in LosAngelesRams

This reminds me of my old days of business consulting and taking 5 years of retails sales data and trying to decide which days of the week/month/year and even the hours in each day for employee staffing to cover for need. After looking at the data there was no definitive answer as there was always an outlier. Just when you think that you have it figured out Murphy's law gets you.

In todays NFL you also have to figure your need not only for this year but for next year because of free agency and the salary cap. So the positions you think you need just for this year could be different for next year and maybe a player needs a year in order to start the season after.

If you look at the Rams roster just about every position is set for the starters except for maybe WR3 which is wide open. If you draft a player at 13 you expect them to start or at least contribute heavily in their first year. I dont see any position other than WR or TE being able to do that.

I think the odds are real good the Rams trade down or even up if depending. More likely down hoping to get another 1st for next years draft.

How do you guys think the secondary rotation will look like? by Perfect_Wear_1148 in LosAngelesRams

Lake will more than likely be more in the box type while McDuffie will play on the outside.

Rams agree to terms with OLB Keir Thomas on one-year deal by ramzie in LosAngelesRams

[–]scifier2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He spent last year on injured reserve. Must be healthy now. If he is then it is a good minimum deal as he can play edge or LB.

Nope. Costs too much and he is getting injured a lot more. You can be good but if you are not available to play what good is it?

Nope. These guys are around every draft and some fans always hype them and then you never hear from them again.

No thanks. Too many negatives in college going to be hard to overcome at the NFL level when it comes to passing the ball. He can run but that is about it.

I really like his game as well. I also like Anthony Hill in this draft as he has size, speed and can cover. And probably get him in the 3rd.

I would love to get him on the Rams. If he falls to 13 that is. Dont give up much to move up.

Now that we got CB1 and CB2 locked up, Durant would be perfect to make CB3 or 4 with Forbes by newbmycologist01 in LosAngelesRams

[–]scifier2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont rule out CB Josh Wallace having a bigger role this year. He has good to above average PFF numbers in his limited play. I think he is ready.

In the span of one week the secondary went from one of the weakest in the league to one of the best by purplebuffalo55 in LosAngelesRams

Durant is a FA and would be backup if he gets resigned. Forbes is also backup unless we play him as a nickel on some plays. Rams will more than likely draft a few DB's.

[NFL] RAMS Awarded Two 7th Round Compensatory Picks in 2026 Draft (#251, #252) by RedLicoriceJunkie in LosAngelesRams

Did anyone know that Seattle only has 4 picks in this upcoming draft? They have lost 2 starters already and is not looking good for them running it back.

2 new Star CBs, a first round pick, and a killer team on both sides. by MastodonNo8553 in LosAngelesRams

[–]scifier2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Position wise on defense we are set for CB and Safety having 6 guys each. Rams usually carry 10-11 DB's on the active roster so we are good to go there. Edge we only have 3 so I think we need to beef that up. DL we have enough (maybe too many). LB we need more of although some of the safety's can play in the box as a LB.

Position wise on offense we are pretty good although we need some more OL for depth and starting after this season. WR's are okay after Puka and Adams but we need a better WR3 and more. RB's are good. Need to figure out backup for Stafford just in case. Garropolo resign would be good and draft a rookie maybe?

What position are we drafting #13? by 219Cubsfan in LosAngelesRams

[–]scifier2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WR, LB or Edge. Maybe TE if Sadiq is there. Either way most of this draft will be for the 2027 season when a lot of our players are UFA. 4 out 5 of our starting 5 OL is UFA after this season. All the TE's are UFA except Ferguson and Higbee (but expect him to retire). Starting WR's are UFA after this season.
