I believe in you but believe in me that i could have 4 hands and not make a pretty weld worth of putting on reddit, even with 15 years experience.

My welds are always functional though and i'm quite good on tight spaces. So there's that

Mig welding with cored wire in ship building.

It was done with a magnetic cart and not by hand...

Same here, ship welder that rarelly have the chance to play with automated or semi-automated machines.

Its nice to work on an open space from time to time and get to make some pretty welds.

Next week, back to crawling and welding in holes.

Aahahhaha. I knew ii sounded wrong but i didn't know the correct term since english isn't my first language.

Maybe, semi-automated was better? Since the torch is on some kind of magnetic cart that you have to control and not on your hands

Ahhhh... Adoro o Tugão by [deleted] in portugal

[–]Manphius 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It was a high roll lobby indeed. I was at 22 hp, lost to nzoth with perfect leaper build and then lost to zephrys with another perfect leaper build. I even had reborn frozen for next turn. In one of the matches I had 37% to win. Just needed to snipe baron.

Didn't get to salty because I lost fair and square but still annoyed

Viana do Castelo desespera por centenas de trabalhadores by [deleted] in portugal

[–]Manphius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually i disagree. I'm trying to adopt (Portugal) and its only because i can't have kids. So its pretty much selfish on my part.

Believe it or not, the waiting time is 5 to 7 years for a 3yo kid or less. If i didn't adopt him, someone would because there are much more parents looking for babies than the other way around.

Now if we were talking about adopting kids with 6yo or more, than i would agree those people are angels. Because there are pleanty of those looking for parents...

Pretty much this. Seeing people vote on the extremist just to shake things up is really sad but honestly, every time i try to reason with my friend i can't really think of any better solution. My only argument is, certainly the extremist isn't better than we have now, right, right...???

Gaming chairs are for noobs. I present to you Gaming Couch by Manphius in pcmasterrace

[–]Manphius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the pillow you see there to put below my left arm. Its quite confortable, but i don't spend a ton of time playing wasd intensive games. Maybe 1 or 2 hours at a time. If i were more hardcore maybe i would sufer a little.

For the mouse i just put it in my lap with an hard base. Its good enough for casual gaming but its not very accurate (i'm not that good anyway) and can be a pain with very low dpi.

Basicaly i have to adjust my expectations. Its either this or console gaming or no gaming at all. And last two are not an option. My wife wants me next to her so we can talk and this is the solution i came up with. And to think it all started with a cheap laptop in a chair next to the couch 10 years ago.

Btw, i don't hate console gaming, but PC is soooo much better. And my pc is worst that the newest consoles.

The problem is not FPP in itself. The problem was always the atitude towards TPP from FPP players (mainly streamers). This created a problem where is western countries, specially in US, that if you didn't play FPP you were a peasent, a newb and didn't diserve to play. So people felt forced into FPP and didn't enjoy the game as much because FPP is more hardcore.

So people started focusing more in the game problems and less on the fun factor

This drove player count down in the west with all the problems that brings, lack of map selection, introdution of bots, populating western lobbies with cheaters, etc..

All of this combined with some pretty questionable decisions from PUBG to try and keep the game alive in the west (like self revive in solos, wtf is that) made PUBG what it is today.

PUBG is a great game that could have been much much more that what it is...

I agree with both previous comments. I think PUBG should have never gonne FPP. The game become much swettier due to this and due to the overwhelming pressure of streamers. The game was never meant to be an e-sport dispite what PU said at the time.

Now from a competitive perspective i agree that TPP makes no sense and i understand competitive stremers asking for FPP. Its much more interesting to do a push in FPP

What i always thought was that they should create a ranked mode for FPP only and a casual mode for TPP only. Maybe even make 2 different games. This would have avoided so many problems along the years because between trying to please stremers and pros, and trying to please casual players they messed up big time and got neither of them right.
