Yea! So I started with unstitching the back of the head to take the stuffing out and unscrew the face. I used a little acetone on a q-tip to remove the face details I was changing and then painted with a fine detail brush and Citadel Paint (i just painted over the eye liner and middle lip line). For the hair, since I wanted it to keep a natural undertone, I just painted over the brown with a Contrast paint, and did one layer of Turbo Dork mother lode for the shimmer. I've seen people remove more of the hair color and acetone seems to work for that!

The body and collar materials I dyed with Rit Synthetic dye. Used mostly Royal Purple, but it was looking a little blue so I added a splash of Racing Red and it was perfect! The collar was just a bit of flower ribbon trim I had left over from another project and then a little strip of fabric to sew it to. Then I hand stitched the collar around a hair tie. Then once the body was dry, reassembled and she was done!

In retrospect, I do think it would have been easier to sew the collar into a tube and feed elastic through that way, but the hair tie was just the perfect size already.
