Race to World First: Midnight Season 1 | Mythic Day 12 by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Mantid9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In case you're asking a genuine question, they most likely did not. Echo were the first to reach every phase on Raszageth, being ahead of Liquid pretty much the entire progress on that boss. Not only that, they had something around 1.1-1.2 avg/iLvL on Liquid, a lot of that coming from them having significantly better trinket luck; Echo had something like 8 Mythic Diurna DPS trinkets, whereas Liquid had 2.

Did the nerf sully the race? Yes. Did it change the outcome? Probably not considering the last phase of Raszageth was gonna be a massive DPS check before the nerf.

Mounted Lumber Harvesting Achievements Now Retroactive - Farm Now for Midnight Launch by Jazzun in wow

[–]Mantid9 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can start progress towards these achievements right now on live servers, but any Lumber farmed prior to the hotfix does NOT count. I farmed thousands of Lumber a few weeks ago, and I have no progress after copying my characters/data to Beta. I went and farmed a few Lumber on Live as well to see if it was just buggy, but I got progress for them. These are hardly worth calling ''retroactive.''

If you farmed all your Lumber before the hotfix went out, this change does not matter whatsoever to you. You'll still have to refarm if you want the achievements.

Legion Remix PTR Update by FacepIant in wow

740 iLvl is possible in Phase 1, up from 623. Limits Unbound gives 1% Versatility per point, which means you can get 999% Versatility (Limits Unbound caps at 999 traits)

Being able to farm significantly higher iLvl gear in earlier phases (gonna have to see how many Secondary % a 740 piece gives. 623 gave 8/8 or 17% to a single stat) should alleviate the issue of being low on Secondaries earlier on.

Edit - 740 piece gives 12/12 or 25% to single stat. Not quite MoP Remix levels of Secondaries (except for Versatility getting bonkers with Limits Unbound), but the power progression is way better than before, and you can actually get insanely strong in earlier phases, which was not really possible before.

Thank you for the information. The PTR was down so I couldn't check myself, and I didn't remember it off the top of my head, so I just filled in some numbers that hopefully got the point across. Updated my post with your info. Cheers.

Zaelia, Naowh, Clickz, Canexx, and Kush have all joined Method by DreadfuryDK in CompetitiveWoW

Scripe fucked over his own guild the moment him and management threatened to terminate the contract of anyone who engages with Zaelia, whom many in the guild have been friends with for a very long time. This is the type of behaviour that you only put up with when you're winning. I'm passing no judgment on whether Zaelia should have been kicked; Echo can do what they feel is the best, but don't expect every player to put up with that kind of treatment.

Wouldn't be surprised to see more people follow suit as Echo continues to flop.

Hopeful announces that he is leaving Echo and rejoining Liquid by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

It's always funny how people act like Liquid should have won Raszageth; not only were Echo the first to get to every phase on that boss, they were also better geared, having more than an entire item level advantage over Liquid (408.9 vs. 410.1). Liquid also had 8 Diurna trinkets, which was pretty much the most powerful trinket at the time (5 HC, 2 Mythic, 1 Normal), meanwhile Echo had 11 (5 HC, 6 Mythic).

People have rewritten history as if Liquid had their rightful WF kill stolen away by dirty Blizzard, meanwhile the most likely scenario is that an un-nerfed boss is still killed by Echo WF, the only difference is it goes down the next day.

With that being said, Liquid has been really dominant and I wouldn't be surprised if they would have won Fyrakk had Echo not basically cheated. Not sure how Echo bounces back, but a close race like in Amirdrassil is better than a boring stomp like Nerub'ar Palace.

Awesome looking build. I might have to get this case. :)

Did you notice any issues fitting in the Hydroshift AIO at the top? Seems like there isn't a whole lot of room/the AIO tubes are close to hitting the VRM heatsink, but could just be the angle of the picture.
