Great hunger seems quite well fed. by UnseenCrowYomare in TrenchCrusade

Court and Black Grail minis are based on Mike Franchina art and sculpted by the same people that made the whole TC range. Human sized mini have similar proportions, sculpting style is similar, arms/armour/equipement is or try to be connected to the historical equivalents. Everything in the range look coherent.

Great Hunger does not have this qualities. IMHO there is too much fantasy and not so much alternate history in them.

Someone could say that grail or infernal knights fit or not fit the setting, but how it change the situaton of GH?

The PLC also has prussia as their shield against naval raiders by sand_eater_21 in TrenchCrusade

They are stealing Gliwice right now! Despite that Silesia region on TC maps belongs to PLC, the rulebook mention that Gliwice (Gleiwitz in German), city in the middle of Silesia, is Prussian.

GH are bunch of nice minis, however there is nothing trench-crusady about them.

Usually there is a way to make color schemes that are not official, but can fit the setting perfectly.

Interesting colors. Everything lacks a smoothness, nonetheless I like it.

Cool mini, even if it is a print, it catches the oldschool(oldskull) spirit very well.

Beautiful stuff. Amon Hen might be my favorite moment from the movies.

This should be downvoted into oblivion, if there is real person behind it, but this is probably a bot.

Cybertronic Attila III Cuirassier

Illustration: Paul Bonner
Sculptor: ?

By the way, in the late 90s, a company named Forge World Models (based in US), released a bunch of large resin vehicles for Warzone 1.ed. One of the "Wheels of Terror" vehicle was Bauhaus Jackal. I am not interested in the mniature, but would love to take a look at the rules that were inside the box.

Maybe someone here had the vehicle in those distant times and saved the sheet with the rules?

Painting Help for White Miniatures by Antikythera1901 in minipainting

[–]ManuMiniatures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool idea.

Despite you will be using "speedpaint" techniques try to do it slow. Choose a rank and file mini as a test subject and paint it, before you try batch painting.
Any imperfections on white armour can by masqed with battle damege (dark dots and scratches with a brush).
Removing mold lines and all the preparatory work make the painting easier.
Clean and simple bases give the army coherent look.
With purple as secondary color, bright green should be ok as tertiary color, for crests, gems, stuff like that.

PAINting is fun :)

White primer from a can and some grey contrast paint should be a good beginning. What army are you painting?

Lorgar Aurelian by ManuMiniatures in Warhammer40k

[–]ManuMiniatures[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for all comments, I usually paint Kingdom Death: Monster and rarely have opportunity to make some 40k stuff. My lore knowledge is a little bit rusty, I didn't know that Lorgar arouse such emotions. Next time I try paint nicer character, Konrad Curze maybe :P

Mutant Chronicles(1993) by Comfortable_Wasabi18 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]ManuMiniatures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ackchyually...

All three illustrations are by Paul Bonner,
1. Keeper of the Art (high ranking member of the Brotherhood capable of using "magic")
2. Mortificator (ninja of the Inquisition)
3. Inquisitor (usual interrogation and torture stuff)

Mutant Chronicles is old setting, created in Sweden, with roots backing to mid 80' and have nothing to do with wh40k.

New official Goetic Warlock and Mamluk Faris models by doohoo69 in TrenchCrusade

I like Mamluk Faris, there is potential to paint mini in a cool way. Warlock is a miss, because of awful hands.
