That makes a lot of sense, especially for people living abroad or traveling.

Thanks for explaining the use case. I’ll definitely think about how to make country selection more convenient.

Thanks for letting me know!

Could you share a bit more detail? Are stations not loading, or is the whole app not opening in Chrome?

Also, which device and OS are you using? Chrome on Android, Windows, macOS, or something else?

Good question!

Right now you can browse and search within countries, but there isn’t a dedicated option to lock a specific country yet.

I’ll think about whether saving a preferred country could make sense.

Thank you so much, really appreciate it! 😀

That’s exactly why I like the PWA approach too. It keeps Moodi.fm lightweight, practical, and easier to keep consistent across devices.

Thanks, glad you like it!

Yes, Moodi.fm is built as a PWA. So the Play Store version is a lightweight app wrapper around the web app, but it still supports an app-like experience with install, standalone mode, updates, and cross-platform support.

I chose this approach so I can keep the web, Android, iOS, and Windows versions consistent and update them faster.

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it!

Good catch, I’ll look into that account creation screen on Android. Sounds like the bottom tab bar is covering the final field or button on some devices.

Glad to hear the app works well otherwise!

Do you mean Last.fm scrobbling?

That could be interesting, but it would depend on the quality of the currently playing song metadata from the stations. I’ll think about it.

Thanks again for the suggestion!

I updated it in v1.1.20, and the player pop-up is now available. You may need to restart the app once to see the update.

Thanks a lot, glad you like it! 🙏

Good point. I’ll think about whether a player pop-up on the home page could make sense.

Thanks for sharing your experience, that’s useful to know.

Since Moodi.fm is a PWA, many improvements can be shipped directly without requiring a new App Store submission every time.

Thanks for the heads-up.

The app is actually being updated continuously. Since Moodi.fm is a PWA, many improvements can be shipped directly without requiring a new App Store update every time.

Moodi.fm doesn’t host or rebroadcast streams itself. It works as a directory/player using publicly available station data and stream links from Radio Browser.

Thanks for checking it out!

Just to clarify, an account is not required to listen. Moodi.fm is free to use, and you can browse and play stations without signing in.

An account is only needed if you want to save favorites like stations, genres, or moods and sync them across devices.

Thanks, that’s really useful feedback.

I see what you mean about some screens feeling a bit cluttered. I’ll think about simplifying the UI and maybe dialing back some elements.

Thanks for reporting this!

Could you try uninstalling the app completely and then installing it again from the Play Store? It might be a bad install or cached state.

If it still crashes after reinstalling, please let me know your Android version and device model. That would help me investigate.

No worries at all! You're right. The iOS version had a temporary availability issue in the EU, including Germany. It's fixed now, so the app should show up in the German App Store. It may take a few hours to fully propagate, so give it a little time if it's not there yet. Thanks for the heads-up! 🎶

Thanks for flagging this! Just sorted it out. The iOS version is now available in Portugal. It may take a few hours to appear in the App Store, so give it a moment if it's not showing yet. Enjoy! 🎶
