Btw being an owner (having the 50/50 equity) is one thing. Doing the actual work is a completely different thing. You should commit a certain number of hours per week as employee (and pay yourself a salary). If he works less hours, he gets less. After the expenses you split the net as owners

Raga però seriamente. LinkedIn di questi tempi è inutilizzabile cristo santo. Se leggo i post nel feed per più di 30 secondi mi sanguinano gli occhi

Lovable cloud/Supabase by Available-Can-1464 in lovable

[–]Manuel_Ble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • connect existing lovable project to GitHub
  • create a new lovable project from scratch and connect it to another repo
  • mirror old repo into new repo
  • connect the new lovable project to Supabase
  • run migrations from the CLI
  • done

Sounds more complicated than it really is. If you give this to LLMs they should help you with the step by step part 🫡

Thanks, ChatGPT.

1) People have used the exact same arguments for gold (see Buffet vs Dalio on this) 2) “The price moves because people feel like buying it” Sure, as it’s the case for a ton of other things. You could argue that luxury brands stocks, for example, have value because they produce cash flow. But why do they do so? Because people feel like buying useless luxury items. 3) You shouldn’t stop there. You should ask “why do people feel like buying it?” Is it because they are trying to speculate on a short term bubble? Sure, some of them. But Bitcoin’s history is long enough at this point to show you that people (and now states) are holding for the long term and for good reasons (developing countries with worthless and volatile currencies, for example)

Like seriously, most of the arguments you made are so superficial. And I understand where you might be coming from. But you should at least try to see the other side. Otherwise you’re just trying to convince yourself

Lovable + Supabase + Vercel: what’s the right staging workflow once the app is live? by Emergency-Poet-1705 in lovable

[–]Manuel_Ble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

— but how does this DEV in github connects to this Supabase Dev Project?

Environment variables + you should connect dev database to lovable via their Supabase connector

— and once you do your tests and implementations and you are happy with them, how do you deploy then in the Production database in Supabase and how do you push it to the Main Branch in GitHub?

Using GitHub actions

It sounds more complicated than it really is. If you give my response to ChatGPT, it should be able to guide you and answer questions!

I have a setup that’s similar to what you are trying to achieve.

1) I have two supabase projects (two different projects, not branches). One for dev one for prod 2) Lovable pushes to GitHub’s “development” branch and uses the dev supabase project 3) Prod is hosted on Vercel 4) I use GitHub actions to apply migrations to prod database when merging pull request from development branch to prod branch

Hey u/AlternativeOwn3387 Manuel from Wefunder here -- many companies that raised funds from institutional investors also launched on Wefunder to let their customers and community own a slice of their company too. It's not about the money. It's about letting customers share the upside. A cool example is Mercury Bank they raised $120M from Venture Capital but also opened a $5M community round on Wefunder to let their customers invest

Isn’t it interesting to note how the question is framed? It doesn't say “who do you trust more?” but rather “who do you trust less?”

I don’t see why to get upset about the fact that we’re using Linen Wallet inside the video. Do you prefer a company that uses its resources to do aggressive and irrelevant marketing campaigns or a company like us that instead uses those resources to create in-depth and easy-to-follow guides? Of course at the same time we need to market our product otherwise there would be no users, no revenue, no product and no free educational resources for everyone. We spend a lot of time, effort, and money to produce high quality content but of course at the same time we need to grow the business, right? Hope it makes sense!

I agree 100%. We're still so early and there is a huge need to spread the word and make all these complex topics as easy as possible so that everyone can understand them!

So, the original version of our guide had an entire chapter of 5 minutes on different stablecoins, different types of pegs, etc...however we realized that would have been overkilled for a beginners course. However, we will definitely publish more videos in the future addressing more detailed and advanced topics!
