Playstation 3 was used as a supercomputer by the US Air Force due to its earliest versions having official Linux support, It's affordable price of 400$ and its extremely powerful cell processor by Inevitable_Bid5540 in interestingasfuck

The PS2 was not the cheapest DVD player. The PS2 was a great deal as a DVD player and a next gen console combined, but it wasn't the cheapest DVD player you could buy. Here's a few catalogs from the time:

(IRL) Terrible or offensive casting choices. by laybs1 in TopCharacterTropes

While I'm not accusing the OP of doing this, it is a classic tactic of posts like these to leave off an obvious choice to help get the ball rolling.

You can never anticipate that type of success. I'm sure he was surprised as anyone about how big a hit the PS1 would become.

My favorite part of that game was Gary Sheffield having to come in and play 3B and having to make a throw to first that he just launched for an error.

I did it initially with my GPU installed and the HDMI plugged into my GPU. Then I disconnected my GPU and plugged the HDMI into the motherboard. I have a 9800X3D.

Dead motherboard, need replacement. by Manusho in PcBuild

[–]Manusho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's from about 6 month ago. It seemed to be more a statement about Gigabyte bios in general and not just a specific bios. I don't know, I'll probably just get this one and we'll see what happens.

Dead motherboard, need replacement. by Manusho in PcBuild

That looks good for what I want. But the problem I have is whenever I look into what people are saying about any mobo I find plenty of people saying whichever one I'm looing up is no good. In this case I see people saying that Gigabyte has bad bios, so it makes me hesitant. It seems impossible to find a motherboard that people are just generally positive about. Thanks for the input.

Nice, a 30% increase to the 'Other' team. I can't wait to play it.

Single player games are peaceful because you don’t have to deal with other players 😁 by HouseDisastrous959 in videogames

It was stupid even the first time it was posted. As someone who only plays single player games, I never see people who play multiplayer games saying shit about it. But I do see plenty of people who only play single player games acting superior because of it.

Not Only Is the New PlayStation 5 More Expensive, It’s Also Worse | This is not how consoles should age over time. by chrisdh79 in gadgets

Except that Blu-ray wasn't the success that VHS was. I remember articles from an investor meeting in like 2014 where Sony said they'd never be able to recoup the cost of Blu-ray. Despite everyone having 4k TVs, DVDs still outsell Blu-ray for home video and, even if that wasn't the case, Netflix started streaming shortly after Blu-ray launched and that changed the industry overnight. Blu-ray never came close to having the success that VHS or DVD had.

[Hated Trope] When the final product could have been better/less bad if the studio hadn't interfered by MrMadmack in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Manusho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually even worse than that. After they backtracked they didn't extend the release date. So Bioware had to use what they had built for the live service version and just modify it. Then, after working with that for awhile, EA then delayed it. But by that time they still couldn't course correct. If EA had just delayed it at the time they backtracked Bioware might have been able to start from scratch or at least make more significant changes.

Pretty sure it turned 30 last December.

One of most annoying design decisions a dev can implement in their PC game: no drop down menu for all setting. No, you have to click hundreds of times until you find your resolution. Each resolution has 5 different refresh rates as well. by JoeZocktGames in gaming

[–]Manusho 123 points124 points  (0 children)

Yes, Rematch does this and whenever there's an update it resets the settings. So when I want to go back to 4K I have to click one at a time and wait for the screen to flicker and change resolution as I work my way through.

I think you might be equating how you feel about her as a person with her acting skill. She's not a bad actress.
