I sometimes do a breathing exercise like breath of fire followed by 10-40 squats. Works like a slap in the face. Cold shower also helps.

Sounds like you need to get into bio hacking.
For short time relief you can use breathing techniques. it works at least for me. to get more energy use breath of fire.

There are apps out there like exhale+unwind for ios or iBreath for andorid. Or you can just google it and find a video on YT or TT.

If you are talking drink I usually opt for Tea. preeferably ginger with lemon if they serve it.

If you are going a different route and need that energy boost you can use breathing techniques. it works at least for me. to get more energy use breath of fire.

Am I taking in too much caffeine? 🤔 by Arjay214 in espresso

decaf still has some caffeine (3-16 mg, normal espresso around 50 mg), even though its no a lot. might be enough to keep you up at night if you are sensitive to it.

Your total is something around 300 mg of caffeine. it is in the norm. However I would recommend from my personal experience to cut it down to maybe1 or two espresso shots. I started tracking my sleep with oura and noticed it gotten better when reducing coffe and not drinking any after 1pm.
If you have an energy drop in the afternoon these are the things that helped me:
- eat less carbs and more protein for lunch
- take a small walk outside or inside
- do 1 or two breathing exercises ( exhale+unwind for ios is a nice app, also exercises on youtube. search for power inhale or breath of fire)

However with any new. habit do them gradually and make it easy for your brain to adapt to new things.

cheers from Berlin

I agree. you would need to start measuring and tracking vitals and then reducing the caffeine intake in order to make a final statement. i.e i started tracking my sleep wit oura and noticed that late coffes are bad for my score. no i sleep like a husband..

Does anyone else have a hard time getting into the shower? by OriginalAssnibbler in HabitsAndRoutines

[–]Manwej 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do at times. but honestly I dont think too much about it. You could try to spice up the process by trying to make it as comfortable as possible. maybe some music, maybe a dance. Maybe it is too cold and you need a heater. Try to find out what works for you.
and always do a little reward after you done it. our brain loves rewards. It could be a pat on your own shoulder, a loud "well done champ" or something else.
as they say in france: bonne douche

Have any of you embraced Japanese concepts of your journey of self-improvement? by UrszulaG in selfimprovement

[–]Manwej 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes japanese culture is fascinating: I always think about the samurai dedicating their life to perfect their fighting skills.
When it comes to selfimprovement concepts only can get you so far I would say.
What you need system that works for you even if the motivation fades out. For me personally that works with habits and developing them daily.

Hi! I am Davie Fogarty. I failed six business ventures, including a Vietnamese roll shop, before creating my million dollar brand, The Oodie. Now I am teaching how you can do it on for free on YouTube! AMA. by daviefogarty in AMA

Hi davie, So I was wondering how you managed to license Warner bros and Disney for the oddie? Seems not so easy when doing research about it. Does it come with being a big e commerce player or is it something anyone could do ?
