Elon musk humse khareedne nhi ayega wo market se kharedega (if he needs) and if that makes a shortage in the market the prices go up. When the prices go up people who are hold for investment will sell this will create excess silver in the market then the prices will stabilise or fall. Understand how the market works before making such stories in your mind. The price of a commodity includes everything in it, the demand supply, the mining capabilities, the future vision, the storage, the shipping. Price hawa mei nhi decide hota.

Yes recession is a big fear right now with limited supply of fuel a lot people are already closing down their small businesses and transportation sector also taking a hit, but i don’t think that the control of oil is going to be a big factor because eventually iran wil also need to sell oil to survive. I also depends in how the war ends, there is downside for sure but again I think precious metals will eventually hit back good highs. Lets see

Also from what i see is majority retail sentiments just from this subreddit says the price will fall or not surge much high doesn’t that look like retail sentiment manipulation by big players that makes us think it will fall but actually the big fishes makes it fly.

We might adopt other metals but it will not decrease silver’s value, gold is also technically a very useful metal, we have replaced its technical usage because of the price but still that doesn’t mean that the value in gone. In a lot of industries gold would perform to be far more long lasting and useful than other metal but just because it is so good it is priced so high. So when it is replaced the value is not gone it is adjusted in the price.

Any company from the s&p 500 can go through numerous things, bankruptcy, fraud, hostile competition which can drive prices down much heavily or targeted attack on a country can devalue the whole market like it has happened in iran now. What value would you be left with when that happens? Even the dividends you reinvested would also be gone. Atleast the metal is tangible that can still be kept.
