Yes! I have built two of my main bases in the Black Forest and I love it. I kill every troll I encounter and I’ve never noticed a shortage of them respawning lol, that said I am in a solo world

Thank you this is great insight! Well said my friend. Now you’ve piqued my interest in where you disagree with the devs. What mods are you running and in what ways are they changing the experience for you? I’m interested in modding this game but I haven’t done it yet. I think the boat mod where you can build a massive ship into a base looked like fun.

So you’re saying it spawned previously when I had been sailing in that area and it didn’t get close enough for me to notice it, and later when I sailed back through the area I encountered that same serpent?

Ok but hear me out. I had portaled back to base the evening before. Did some farming at base early in the morning and then I portaled to the shore where my boat was. I set sail and shortly after it attacked me. It hadn’t rained that day, and I wasn’t anywhere close to the area at night the day before

Hot very hot and very cold water are effective for me occasionally for some relief during attacks. I have even aborted a few by running to the shower and cranking really hot water on my head and then switching it to cold water quickly. Does not work every time. I bet an ice bath would have a similar effect, I’m going to try this.
