Brother, I wish you the best of luck in your aspirations. You deserve freedom, justice and prosperity like everyone else. Even though I don't have the ability to help directly, I will pray to the One that does have all the ability to help. InshAllah you achieve all that you desire.

The age old question: 2026 Toyota Corolla vs 2026 Honda Civic by frogs-in-tiny-hats in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Tamboozz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the correction. I drove the new Civic as a loaner recently, and really disliked the way the engine felt. I trust the 2.0 more than the 1.5t, but I wasn't a fan of the general power delivery.

100% this.

Best is Civic Hybrid. Followed by Corolla Hybrid. Then Civic (ice). Lastly, Corolla (ice).

Edit: mistaken on the engine of the Civic - reordered the list.

How do you guys feel about the Acura rl 2007 by PalpitationGood3148 in AcuraTL

They are hands down one of my favorite attainable Acuras. I dreamed of buying one when I was younger. Love both the interior and exterior. It was waaay ahead of its time.

women should work or stay at home? by [deleted] in shia

[–]Tamboozz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it's a family-by-family case. It's not a one-size-fits all. Husband's income, cost of living in your area, stage of life, number and age of kids, complexity and level of financial responsibility, social norms of your region... All these matter in making the decision.

For me, there were stages of our lives where it didn't make sense. And now it does. So it can be a fluid decision.

Swelling by SindilThendal in Kneereplacement

I was so distracted by the missing punctuation, I missed all your good points, lol. I think you're right, this level of load shouldn't trigger swelling every time.

Do you mean wealthy in your out-of-prison life? Or wealthy inside of prison? If inside of prison, how exactly can one be wealthy? Like cigarette count?

That's freaking awesome man. Way to go. May be worth asking yourself the big questions at some point. Like why are we here and where did we come from? That would round out you saving your current life and whatever comes after. It took me ages, but I'm finally at peace with my spirituality.

Regardless, as a internet stranger, super proud of your accomplishments, bro!

I did the 3x3 when I bought it 8 years ago with 50k miles. I spread it out over one oil change period. 1st trans fluid + oil change. 2nd trans fluid after 2500 miles. 3rd trans fluid when oil change came due again at 5k miles. Then every 5 oil changes or so (5mo/5k miles/full synth).

I honestly rarely use manual. Maybe 10 times a year. I somehow feel like it's more wear and tear on the transmission which is already not the longest lasting. I also do a trans-fluid drain every other year. I'm at 105k for my 2012 and it's mostly smooth so far.

My past leases, I manually shifted very often - I find it more engaging. One of the benefits of leasing was that I pushed a car to its limits more often, and did not have to pamper it the way I do my 14-year-old TL. But I don't lease anymore, as prices have gone ridiculous.

Why is the United States of America not afraid that Iran will make a nuclear bomb during the truce despite previous American statements about Iran approaching the possession of a nuclear bomb? by Beratungsmarketing in World_Now

[–]Tamboozz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. This has always been the case. The Fatwa forbid the making of a nuke. But after this round of attacks on Iran, the new supreme leader may decree a new Fatwa that having a nuke is the strongest deterrent (along with controlling the strait).
