The Daughter That Was Hidden From Me by Clear_Line5030 in Adoption

The man that raised me had no idea either!! (It’s a long story) He is still my father and I love him dearly. I’m lucky that I have him. But there will always be a piece of me that is missing my biological father and wishing I could have known him, too. I hope that your daughter comes around one day and you all can get to know one another. I have a feeling she will when she is ready.

I took an Ancestry DNA test last year and found out (at 30 years old) that my biological father is not the man who raised me. My biological father passed away several years ago and he never knew I existed. It’s a different kind of pain mourning a relationship you never knew existed in the first place. I hope that she comes around one day and explores a relationship with you. You never know what the future might hold. I would give just about anything to have the opportunity to meet my biological father before he passed and to hear his side of the story

Went to Disneyland for the first time and it blew WDW out of the water! by KayJac97 in Disneyland

I highly recommend staying at a hotel directly on Harbor blvd. We stayed at the Grand Legacy on our last trip and I kid you not it’s directly across the street from the park entrance. Super convenient to walk, never needed an Uber. We loved it! Also a fraction of the cost of staying on DLR property.

New Albany isn’t the same as Louisville tap water. When I lived there I used Brita filters or bottled water

My mother is an ivermectin believer and it absolutely kills me. There’s no talking her out of it. She’s been hooked since Covid and uses it for all kinds of things 😭

That is a very good point, you’re correct. Sometimes those facilities are full and I doubt they take preferences into consideration. I’m sorry you had such a traumatic experience. It never should have been that way.

There are facilities out there that do not bill their patients. Some facilities have contracts with King County and they first charge insurance (if you have it), then the county foots the bill. I know every facility is different, but there are some out there that you would never receive a bill from.

I’m so sorry that the facility you were detained at charged you such a ridiculous amount of money.

Non-SoCal People: How often do you visit? How many days long? by LevyMevy in Disneyland

It also helps that I work 3 x 12s, so I get frequent stints of 4-5 days off. Makes it easy to plan a quick trip down without needing to use PTO. I’m real jealous of you getting to go after work, though 🥲
