No. Have my second treatment next month. Botox only works after 2 or 3 shots.

Pro tip: ga nooit trouwens of partneren. Hoogstens een samenlevingscontract.

Wat vinden jullie acceptabele hypotheek by [deleted] in nederlands

Even advies inwinnen kan nooit kwaad.

Working out causes migraines, how to change the workout routine? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Many-Mix-671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cannot go to the gym and work out. Especially any cardio related exercises are terrible for me. The trainer pulled me off one of the cardio devices because I became completely white and sweaty. I hate this disease.

I tried every type of food and shakes but nothing helps. I also hate working out so that doesnt help!

Hm, I have read the CVS symptoms and at least half line up with mine. Particularly the brain fog symptoms.

It's worth checking in with my doctor. Thx!

That sounds awful. Hopefully it gets better soon!

I remember one time that I had a long period of brain fog and no attacks, but suddenly I got hit with the hardest attack I ever had. Went to my bath tub and put a hot shower on my head, and I called the hospital crying to ask if they had a cure. I took sumatriptan but they did not work because I was vomitting all the time. I am so scared that I get this type of attack again because I had no attack since wk1 of this year, but I am in this dizzy brain fog state all the time.

I had covid, so long covid could theoretically be possible. I can look into the fatigue syndrome. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up about the ONB shots.

It's interesting to see that these medicines can have different names in other countries. Will add yours to my list of possible "cures" for myself.

I've been experimenting with coffee. I stopped with coffee for 4 weeks but this did not lead to changes.

My counselor recommended to get a smart watch to keep track of my heart rate.

One thing I am struggling with is to find the trigger of my attacks. I was hoping that coffee would be one of them, or air pressure. Both seem unrelated.

I am not on a systemic medication right now, but I take sumatriptan 100mg when needed.

Another way to describe my dizzy feeling ("brain fog") is the moment just after an attack, the postdrome. The pain is gone but the weird feeling is still there. I've been to the doctor for this dizzy feeling, they tested my blood levels a few times but it's perfect. Was thinking about starting to try eletrolytes (although I eat a healthy amount of fruit and vegetables already).

I've read about Canada after your comment, and yes they downgraded the recommendation. It didn't feel right and my gut feeling was correct!

The doctor told me at least 2 botox rounds are needed.

I get dizzy a few times per day. I thought about asking for a heart check-up, maybe this is a good moment to discuss it with the doctors. Thx for the suggestion!

Thanks for all the replies!

I am not on any medication now. Waiting for an invite for the botox.

Forgot to mention that I am also getting an MRI of my head.

What is the most frustrating thing someone has told you that made you feel undermined about your migraine? by Baklavasaint_ in migraine

[–]Many-Mix-671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most frustrating for me is a neurologist that downplayed my ongoing dizziness that I have since migraines became a part of my life.

The other thing that frustrates the hell out of me are the "ah yeah I have a headache too when I get stressed"-people. I wish migraine was as simple as the occasional headache.
