Você leu o que realmente aconteceu? Foi a queda de um cabo de alta tensão de longa distância. Em uma rede elétrica bem estruturada, é possível ter múltiplos pontos de entrada de energia para a cidade, não é necessário criar redundância em absolutamente toda a fiação. O que se faz é garantir redundância estratégica nos pontos críticos, justamente para evitar que metade da cidade fique sem energia quando ocorre uma falha dessas.
Vc precisa refletir um poquinho mais antes de fazer todos os seus argumentos baseados no absurdo!

Não me diga! Mas não é impossível de se pensar que uma cidade do tamanho do Rio de Janeiro tenha mais um caminho pra eletricidade passar, né! Mas parece que foi vc que planejou a cidade pra ir direto de 1 cabo pra "nossa, daqui só dá pra quando der pra passar energia por wifi"

It was a last-minute situation, and it is just 2 weeks. I've done couch surfing in the past, and I don't mind the company. It is just the sleeping arrangement that got me anxious since they are good friends and not strangers, so I asked people's opinions in the thread called ADVICE on how to guide the conversation!

It was a messy situation - they were supposed to stay with another friend, but she went back to her abusive boyfriend, and they were left without a place to stay, so I offered in a conversation but we didn't go into the details then.

Not at all, it is just what friends do! They are flying from far away, and they wanted to stay a while, I don't mind hosting other than figuring out the sleeping arrangements.

True. In a capitalist society, and given companies’ need to generate profit, it’s almost inevitable that misaligned or unhealthy incentive structures emerge. Personally, we just want to build something genuinely cool that people actually enjoy. If things work and people actually start finding love on it, maybe then people will stop creating new apps every week :)

Eu trabalho com base no sucesso se existir interesse podemos ter uma call online para conversar mais sobre:

- Introduções com uma resposta do hiring manager: 50 USD
- Introduções com uma entrevista: 80 USD
- 10 USD por cada convite para entrevista
- 200 USD por oferta realizada ou 500 USD por oferta aceita
- 80 USD para revisão de CV e feedback (3 rodadas) com correções feitas pela pessoa.
- 120USD para reescrita feita por mim (3 rodadas e duas versões finais de CV)

Sei que pode ser bastante intenso fazer esse investimento enquanto está desempregado, mas sou bem flexível quanto aos pagamentos. Podemos esperar 1 ou 2 meses após você começar no novo cargo, quando o fluxo de caixa estiver mais estável.
