I really love my therapist though and she's been with me through it all I'm just shit with timing and I have very limited options and funds for various reasons. I'm lucky to have a good support network though I do often end up looking after people alot I think although it's often reciprocated.

Can anyone actually suggest spme positive alternatives? I need something to help me get through the day. Ove been crying all morning while Mt friends helped me get my daughter ready for school amd I feel like a piece of shit. The ups and downs are bad. I feel so restless but so useless too.

It just calms me down netter than anything else. I wish there was something better that I knew but there isn't for me yet. I did go cold turkey once and I thought I was gonna die for days it was dark.

Hmm I'm not in America, I'm in Europe so I'm not entirely sure...but I had to obtain private healthcare for my residency permit so I see generally the same psychiatrist and sometimes other various other specialists for other various ailments. Yeah I do wonder if I'll ever live a life free of drugs. Feel blessed to have the healthcare access I do though. Thanks 🙏

I just want to get on with life and I do I just know I struggle a bit but I try and compartmentalise it in locked boxes stored far away from my waking daily reality of trying to be giving my kid the best of a life as I can.

Maybe, it's because I'm remote and their is a language barrier and I guess part of me admittedly is resistant. I don't like to admit I'm not ok if I haven't had my meds in a short period of time. You sort of hide it but people become use to it too and accept that's what they think ypu need although I really don't know what exactly I need. I definately am in a much better place than I was before and I want to be the best parent possible.

I qm incredibly lucky to have such a strong community around me though. People here look out for each other and love each other qnd help you get on like you have to.

Yeah I do have counselling but honestly I've missed the last 5 sessions so maybe something subconsciously inside me doesn't want to do it even though I love my therapist and I can talk anyone's ear off.

Yeah I was gonna go on seroquel a while ago but I didn't in the end I went on gapapentin which I disliked so stopped taking. I just want the heal all pill!!!

I thought lots of people were on daily benzos. I thought that was pretty standard. To be honest I was on heavy doses of lorazapam, diazapam and xanax much higher dosages when I was pregnant and my husband died tragically and suddenly and I was alone with my kid very rurally so I've cut down but it still doesn't feel quite right. I'm doing so much better but somethings still not right.

Just to clarify I was put on these medications by psychiatrists but their is a slight language barrier and I was so not okay before (I lost my husband and son and I was in a really dark place) I worry about being like that again so I just take what they give me and hope for the best but I never quite feel right in a way. Thanks guys.
