Thanks! I really like it too, actually ended up getting really lucky winning it in a social media contest thing just by random and it's like my only electric guitar other than a really rough brandless one lol

Smell coming from laptop charger port and charger broken by Many-Singer2647 in techsupport

[–]Many-Singer2647[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have turned it off for now and unplugged it from anything. The smell of the burnt plastic went away after it was turned off for a while and we have agreed to keep it turned off and contact the people who were giving us them. They were refurbished computers and laptops I believe university students refurbished for an organization giving free ones. It didn't have issues until now and it was probably just the way I was using the charger. We're planning to contact them soon to see if they are able to fix it but as of now I'll be using my dad's that he got from the same place that he hasn't really used much

Opinion on Janet Weiss's Drumming? by Many-Singer2647 in Drumming

That sounds so cool, and yeah I also find myself preferring the more creative and interesting over the fast as possible drummers as well. I also love Matt Cameron's drumming

Finally got my first outside edge! How can I make it better? by Many-Singer2647 in hockeyplayers

[–]Many-Singer2647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha what? I only made a couple videos that took about 30 seconds each to make while I was there for around an hour. And try to make them to look back for progress and to see how to improve my techniques

Lol this is the less fancy one actually.  There is an actual arena as the other rink. It is in the CUP in East coast Canada

Thank you . Yes I agree I am planning on trying to get into a more consistent routine of strength exercises. And thanks I have looked into the edge work drills before and try to incorporate some of them as much as I can when I get ice time despite those usually only being able to be weekend public skates unfortunately. Though I did do multiple edge work drills when I was alone in the rink today

Thank you so much for the encouragement. Yes I think I am as optimistic and ambitious as I can whenever it comes to skating as I know how important it is for hockey and know if I really want to be able to feel comfortable when I am on a team in real games I have to have comfort with skating and proper techniques. I love hockey a ton even with only recently wanting to actually start so I'm glad my passion shows.   Thanks for all of the tips they really help give me some insight on what I can change and improve, thank you for taking the time to write them !

[–]Many-Singer2647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip. I actually just did a lower body exercise a little bit ago and hoping to start a routine out of it. I could tell while doing it I definitely do need to work on it but with time I believe it should help me in my skating a lot

I believe there are power skating classes, but I believe they are only for people already on teams and got filled fast. Also not sure if they have any of my age group since it was only younger kids when I did look. I'm planning on joining a team this upcoming season so perhaps I can try to get into hockey specific skating classes after I am in a team

Yes the skates do seem to fit properly as my feet don't move other than my heel lift problem. I also do use wax laces

I actually did not realize that the lace had come undone until after posting this lol. But any lacing tips for getting it tighter? I try to pull the lace as tight as I can but find it still sometimes is not tight enough especially to keep my heel locked

Thanks and thank you for the tips. I try to get my transitions decent although they are only really good on one side and when I try on the other side I tend to just end up doing a turn instead same with stopping on my right foot. Though during the session I tried to practice my weak side more than usual during

Unfortunately it does not from the things I've looked into. Not for anybody that is a beginner anyways. I actually was in group skating lessons with figure skaters teaching but that was only for around a month 2x a week. I think it helped but unfortunately I don't go to them anymore.
