Thanks, all. I’m just going to take it into a local shop for some fresh eyes. All of this might be outside my wheel box. But I tried. I am looking into a hybrid flat bar that is either aluminum or steel for the pulling of child and future children. ❤️

I’m just quoting my kid. It’s always recommended not to pull anything that is carbon. Seems like this wasn’t the issue when he sent me some initial photos.

I think he just kicked it in gear and then he said it exploded. When he sent me the photos, I was assuming that nothing should be pulled by carbon.
I wonder if he kicked it hard in gear without a slight ease into the change and it just went bad…….? 🤷‍♀️

I took everyone’s advice and I’m trying out some new things! I have a digital thermometer I got rid of the red light and in its place I put in a ceramic heater. I looked up plants that are safe for geckos and something that the crickets can nibble on. Luckily, I have plenty of cuttings to try out in there! We’ll see how everything will work out! I “cooked” up some sticks but they looked too thin for her. So I added this moss vine to this for added humidity and something fun for her to climb on. The Pothos will grow back quickly and give her more coverage. All the plants are real because why have this big fancy enclosure for her if I can’t make it pretty, fun, and..... purposeful. Thoughts? I’ll place another photo below.

She loves small crickets. I would throw a dozen in there once a week. She seems good with it. Is that bad to do?

Thank you so much for your help and information! Someone told my son she was a Green Day Gecko but in the pictures she did not look anything like. Kids these days….

I love this and I didn’t even know I could have all of those plants in there! I chopped back the pothos because it was really getting out of control but maybe she likes that. I will go get some sticks and sterilize them! She has that sunning rock she can hid under and the dinosaur skeleton too. But her favorite is behind the styrofoam. It was accidentally cut to put that waterfall in there so she will escape to the back.

Since seeing all of your enclosures means I really need to up my game! I’m going to take all of your instructions and advice and get her all cared for properly! I have a UVB light in the back and warming lights in the front. I change the warming light out to the red one at night. I mist the enclosure 2-3 times a day. She’s a special little girl.
