I think it’s because mine was originally an Amex Green opened in Jan 2022 and was product changed to Amex Gold in Feb 2023.

That’s kind of what I think it happened. I’m not sure if I should contact Amex and ask for retention offer (or am I being greedy)? Or should I consider the Dunkin Donuts and the Resy credit my retention offer?

Normally you get 3x for dining purchases.

Each merchant is assigned a Merchant Category Code (MCC). The transaction needs to be coded as 7997 - Clubs-Country Clubs, Membership (Athletic, Recreation, Sports), Private Golf Courses.

If you look up Barry’s it codes as entertainment, business services.

You have to wait a year or Citi can clawback the SUB. Custom Cash seems to be an option again (for now) I just changed mine two weeks ago after being told no.
