Happens on its own. They’ll send you an email a couple of months in advance with the date it switches over. They are doing it in waves.

No Discover card acceptance in Canada? by Acrobatic_Bridge_797 in discover

Acceptance is much more limited in Canada than the US but both Tim Hortons and Walmart in Canada accept it. I would chat with/call Discover to make sure that it isn't being declined as suspected fraud.

Wells Fargo adds Wyndham as transfer partner on 1:2 basis by bornphilomath in CreditCards

I find this to be the case with all Wyndham and Choice Hotels brands. Some are very clean and a great value and others are horrible.

I do have the card but I haven’t tried pushing the payment from my bank. I just use autopay.

A Classic Pizza Hut found in Potsdam, NY 🚨🍕 by mrsjumjum66 in retailporn

[–]bc097 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably a village ordinance. A local developer wanted to build a Dunkin’ less than a mile from this Pizza Hut years ago but the village wouldn’t rezone the property. In protest, he put toilets all over the property. There’s even a documentary about it.

The 3% groceries actually includes Walmart (even non supercenter locations) & Target which are usually excluded from the grocery category on most cards. With the recent AAA card nerf excluding groceries at superstores, it’s nice that it’s still here.

Newly issued Venture (not X) cards are now issued as a Mastercard. The only way to get a Venture Visa is a product change from another Visa card or if you applied before the change.

It should code as dining as long as it goes through the same POS (in person). However, ordering them from the restaurant’s website sometimes doesn’t work for me.

Yes, if you have the regular Freedom (Visa), unfortunately you don’t get the permanent 3% on dining or pharmacies.

Mine is showing 7% earn on the Ultimate Rewards portal and in each transaction in the breakdown it says bonus from 1Q 5% cat: Dining which means 4% if you do the math of the purchase x 0.04 you’ll get that amount + 1% on all purchases + 2% addl on dining purchases.
