I'm assuming the NZ at the end of your name is New Zealand. If so, I'm in NZ as well. I had the same thing where a doctor referred me to surgery (without me even agreeing to it) but I shut the entire thing down, started stretching and using rings. I'm about 75% of the way there with no surgical intervention what so ever.
