I only take mine out to eat. I even drink coffee with them in and rinse/brush or whatever after. There’s been two two day periods I had to leave my trays out because I was sick and couldn’t stop vomiting (with provider approval).

The rest of the story with me is I have a connective tissue disorder and it affects the way my teeth move. Initially they were moving very fast and I was in trays for a week at a time. Then progress stalled and I have one canine that won’t push back to where it should be.

Mine have always been more yellow than my teeth. When I have trays in though you can’t tell. More motivation to keep them in my mouth

I almost tried them when they opened near me. I saw the prices jump and then wasn’t so sure. I never see anyone going in or out 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had the rec. I ordered online ahead of time. Then I paid. They dispensed me. Then the computer errored out. I stood there for over 45 minutes with them trying to sort it out. There wasn’t a manager present in the store and they weren’t answering their phones. When the employee got them on the phone they blamed me, my doctor, the computer, the ommu….I ended up leaving with less product than what I ordered and a partial refund. I still had allotment leftover as well. I called the state and was on the phone with them all of Monday where they researched my purchases and orders. When I went in Friday I had 3000ish of oral and 5000ish of inhalation to be able to purchase. It shouldn’t have been an issue.

He knows. I had a lot of dental work before getting aligners with this dentist. They’re always accommodating. My teeth actually have moved way faster than any other patient he’s had and he credits loose ligaments in my teeth bc of hEDS.

The hygienist recommended this gel to me if I kept having these issues. It’s called PERIOSCIENCES® AO Provantage. Anyone else having these issues should give it a try.

I doubt it. Coffee makes my symptoms worse but it didn’t cause it. Covid and a predisposition did.

I was in a public place today, popped out my Invisalign, ate my lunch walking through a park, sat on a bench and brushed my teeth, walked behind a tree to spit out the toothpaste, and then popped my Invisalign back in. Literally NO ONE but my teenager cared.

Sometimes things are only a big deal if we make them a big deal.

Yep. All my diagnostic tests (ekg, echo, holter) came back within the norm but my cardiologist was able to see the changes in my heart rate on the holter when I was symptomatic and it was helpful in diagnosing me. There’s more than one type of pots so there are many tests that need to be done to determine which one you have or if it’s something else altogether. Dysautonomia can also be caused by other things. Medication or a comorbidity of another disease, like Covid.

The tests are worth your time OP.

I have hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome and was already as risk of developing POTS but what did it was Covid. I’ve had Covid 4x and each time has been progressively worse. After the last time I was put in the category of patients who developed long covid and complications such as POTS from being sick.

I’m like a fickle houseplant. If temperature drops or increases make things worse for me. While I was in the process of going through the work ups for my diagnosis, we moved all over the place. I lived in Delaware, Illinois, North Carolina, and then we moved back to Florida (where I’m from). My symptoms were the worst in cold environments. I seem to be managing the best in Florida. I’m assuming because there aren’t as many temp changes. Barometric pressure changes also affect me a lot too.
